The room was clean and a good size. We had clean towels daily and the beds are very comfortable. Parking is free and the hotel is right smack in the middle of the Orlando shopping belt. Lots of eateries and souvenir shops so it's really convenient plus children friendly. Theme parks are a five minutes drive and there is a Walgreen just down the street. We stayed for a week and it worked out great for us. The after service is excellent as well - we left a jacket behind and it was shipped compl.
all reviews » The location was good as it is near dining options and souvenir shops. The hop on hop off bus stop is just outside. Big comfortable beds and adequate amenities. The room is also very clean and quite spacious. Very good value for money. I would stay here again. There is also self service laundry. This hotel is good! Really close to universal studios, about 10minutes drive. There are many restaurants and stores near the hotel. The staff of the hotel are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and wiz most utilities. We stay there for three days and do enjoy our vocation in this hotel. The price is really low and I didn't expect to have such a big and nice room. The stuff was really nice and helping us out with all our questions or called us taxis when we needed one. Great service for a low price. It was really close to Universal Studios and was located in a really nice area with everything you need - restaurants, post office, supermarket, etc. I liked the mini breakfast provided. It's a clean hotel with nice staff. It's 20-30 minutes walking to Universal and they have a shuttle to Disney. If you want to cook, I recommend renting a microwave from the souvenir store as there's no kitchenette. Nothing. The air conditioner is a little noisy. The walls are really thin. I couldn't get much sleep the first night because I could hear people talking loudly next door all night long. Also, the shuttle bus to Universal only runs once a day at 10, so if you want to get there when the park opens you have to cab it. The shuttle they provide to Universal is not in really good hours, so we had to walk there, if we didn't want to lose 3 hours from our day. They have a big charge for every package delivered. shuttle bus timing is so strange. for universal, 10:30 am in morning but theme park open at 9:00, 10pm back to hotel but theme close at 7pm... I was really upset with the breakfast. We were charged even with saying that we were not going to use it . I just used this service 3 days of my stay that was 15 days . n/a. Dont have an elevator. bathroom bit small. I can't thank of anything bad. The view of the elevator outside my window. The room don't have microwave. Awful noise from the adjacent highway all day and night. Feels like there is no privacy. breakfast noise due to proximity to highway. loud guests who obviously don't know that some people want to sleep at 3:00 am. small bathroom. Nothing. Our room was on the outside by the stairs... People going/leaving their room around 4am waking us up... Econo Lodge is not a bad Hotel, but everything is customized for being an economic Hotel. Some people definitely won't like it. If you have limited budget and low expectations it is for you. Breakfast is unbelievably simple. Orange Juice, Coffee, apples and cupcakes. So when you see it don't laugh. Couldn't get many channels on TV. Didn't have a microwave and the continental breakfast wasn't good at all. The muffins/cinnamon rolls were not very fresh and there was no coffee. Price for the room was a little steep also. Smelled like stinky gym socks. Poor breakfast Facility a bit "tired". Breakfast, becouse it was made of coffe and sweets, not to mention the the lack of space for consumation. The traffick noise 24/7 is disaster, windows noise isolation does not exist at all. The cleaness of the could be better, specially for allergic persons, like me. there was too much dust. toilet ran all night kids running yelling at 630 am. Charging fees to receive orders. Price quoted online was much lesser than actually charged-almost half. No help in obtaining park tickets or info. Breakfast was ver poor-only OJ worked out ok. nothing bad too say . had a nice time. The bathroom toliet did not flush properly. The whole bathroom needs an upgrade. The water, in shower was not warm.Very small t.v.. The complementary breakfast was disgusting. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
