The front desk people and the staff in general, including the room service people were friendly and accommodating. The room was well worth the money and the location made it easily accessible to I-4 to Daytona Beach or Orlando. The hotel is situated within walking distance of eating places and Walgreen Pharmacy. I intend to stay at this hotel on my next trip to Orlando. The proximity to the college my son is attending. The rooms were very clean and in very good condition. The pool is large and well maintained. All pictures shown are what to expect and this hotel.
all reviews » I like the side of the bed, a king size bed! Entertainment on property. ie...the Bar & Lounge. Also the hot breakfast, amazing! a beautiful waterfall over the pool. My room was not ready, so i checked in, upon my return, the staff had my key ready. Everyone was nice, the beds were comfortable, cable, loved it. Check out time at noon gave me a chance to rest before leaving town. The beds were beautifully made and comfortable Refrigerator and microwave. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very nicely done. The pool and the buffett breakfast were a treat. Enjoyed my stay !. Very good hotel and staff was very friendly and was happy at the staff at breakfast very professional and a step above. Pretty much everything. The parking lot look a bit narely and worn, but that image was not reflected anywhere else. Our whole experience from the room to pool to breakfast etc. was the best . Thanks and we will be back :). Top-notch staff ... Friendly, helpful, hospitable ... each of the six I met Clean and spacious room. Super convenient to I-4 and all the attractions. Nice breakfast too! Comfortable room and bed. The housekeeper was incredible the room stayed clean everyday even when we had a late start. we have stayed in your place many times, we always like it..... Location to Orlando Fl. nothing at all!. The water pressure in the shower was very low. I reported it to the front desk and was told they would take care of it. Typical free continental breakfast but I've seen larger varieties of food in other hotels. there was no re-entry to the dining area from outside. no ambiance in the rooms, no souvenir shop inside the hotel for hotel memorabilia. There was some mold around the bathtub. my air condition made noise and my room key had some problems but they were quick to fix any problem I had and really appreciated that!. travel location but that is your Corp. decision as far as location. 4:00 pm check in. We had been up working a 30 hour shift but had to wait another 3 hours. I understand it was Good Friday weekend and capacity was probably maxed, therefore there were probably no available clean rooms, we are thinking. The manager did try hard to get us in the first available clean room, but that was still 3:30 ish. Third floor, along the walkway, facing pool, needed vacuuming. It appeared not to have been vacuumed in a long time. Dated exterior... just looks old from the road. Bath needs updating too. Saw 2 roaches in the bath one morning. No big deal for Fla. I guess. Had to go get keys reprogrammed several times because they would not let us in the outside door and the breakfast was not good at all. ??????????. Too much noise coming from the lounge after 11P.M. they should tone it down a bit. lack of variety in workout room. Rooms were small and dated. The decor was dated. Ice machines always out of order during my stay. Room phone ringer very small sound, not even wakeup calls. Age of facilities. Restraunt was not open. bugs in the fridge. room smelled like smoke (especially the bathroom) and the breakfast was not good. I did not like the free breakfast. Nothing was fresh. I think the best part was the apple juice from the machine...even then I had to wait in line behind several small children to fill my cup. Long lines at breakfast. Poor assortment, no fresh fruits, no yochurt. Original room / building very old/ worn. The room smelt, you have to run around under the shower to get wet - very little water pressure. Our room faced the pool & there is a large waterfall into which is very noisy. The place is tired & needs significant updating. The honesty of employees. Cold pool, very noisy, staff very loud by our room music in bar to loud when your trying to sleep. Needs upgrade. Room was in rough shape. Toilet difficult to flush. Towel bar reattached with holes patched but not painted. Tub with burn stains, etc, etc. No attention to repairs... Place was dirty and grubby. Bedspread was stained. Carpets filthy. Mold odor in room. Fridge did not work. Not one working ice machine in hotel. no continental breakfast, extremely noisy on the weekends, due to a nightclub on the premises. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is not it. got locked in then locked out of room. key not working properly. musty smell in room, a.c. very loud made it really hard to sleep.Breakfast was a joke. Room stunk. Ac did not function properly. Water all over bathroom floor when I arrived back from my night out. House Keeping was pounding on my door at 9am to clean room. Need I say anymore?. The hallways weren't kept clean. there were cigarrett buts on the stairwell for the 2 days we were there with the same empty to go containers on the floor. there was a hole in the bathroom as well. The room was dirty and rusty. Service was slow Lots of hidden fees the "free wi-fi" only worked for about 30 minutes at a time the complimentary breakfast was pathetic The toilets flushed slowly and would clog daily. Rooms are very dated. The furniture was stained, the tub was old and was not able to plug if you wanted to take a bath. Smokers are allow to smoke to close to main entrance .the curtains were gross and stain. I stayed at this hotel for past 4 years, and every year it is getting bad. it was really unclean and the staff was horrible!. Décor was sadly out of date. The room size was way to small to be considered ADA accessible.
