Check in was amazingly fast and friendly. Our room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The man at the front desk thought of an ingenious way to get my wine bottle open without a corkscrew! Will stay here again next year without a doubt!. Great value. Friendly staff and very helpful. We will stay again even tho its a little farther from downtown than we prefer. Even with a cab ride the price was so much better. We had everything we needed!.
all reviews » Bed was comfortable and room reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. Sierra, desk clerk was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. She tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Location was good. Had alot of convenient places to eat and get gas and a Kmart near by if you needed anything. Big pool. Staff friendly and competent; room clean and comfortable; location excellent- close to airport, easy access to downtown and attractions by car or cab($20); affordable. The Airport Super 8 was easy to access from I-40 and just a short drive from downtown Nashville. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were clean. Wished the breakfast lasted until 10:00 instead of 9:00 as some mornings would have liked to have slept in a little later. Just one small elevator that broke down while we were there, but just for one night. We had to walk up to our room on the third floor. Breakfast was awful. Hot tub jets not working properly; wi-fi hit and miss. Only complaint was a shower curtain that wouldn't keep the water in the shower, resulting in wet floor!!!. The taxi service was kinda weird. They showed up in an unmarked car and the guy didn't have his license on display or anything. Also another group wanted to split the cab and he tried to charge each group 25 dollars instead of splitting the bill up. Room with 2 queen beds was a little crowded. The bed was actually pretty hard and uncomfortable this time. We woke with a sore back each morning. I didn't like that there was no comforters for the beds, I thought that was a bit distasteful. The elevators were broke while there and the only place for ice was at the front desk. Hallways and lobby not very inviting. When we left there was an exterior door propped open with the rug. This was at 5:00 A.M. so not very secure. The tiles near the eleavtor were loose, that only one of the ice makers worked on the second floor. The improvements needed should be; transporting people to the neighboring university of phoenix and other metropolitan area. other hotels offer this service. In fact I liked the hotel and if they will be offering this service, I will absolutely use rent it next time otherwise i will book hotels that offer such services. The hallway floors were dirty, probably due to the remodeling going on. The tub was old and beat up and the toilet ran all night. It's pretty far from downtown Nashville. Slight odor in hallway . Though couldnt smell it in the room. Hot tub off limits. WiFi is slow. Television needed more channels. The sink in our room would not drain properly (stopper didn't work). They sent a so-called maintenance guy to "fix" it but all he did was jiggle it and said now it's fixed, um no sir it wasn't fixed. Whenever we washed our hands or brushed our teeth, we had to physically pull the stopper up so the water could drain out....talk about inconvenience. Parking space. Had to park at the hotel next to it. Very limited parking space. I was over billed at check out...still trying to get it fixed. poor service. The room was too warm, and we were unable to adjust the air conditioner. It was difficult to sleep comfortably because of the temperature. The indoor pool was cold, would of like heated and the hot tub was out of order! The indoor pool was the main reason I chose this hotel but could not use it!!. The room was comfortable but a little small for three, especially the bathroom. Pool was under maintenance. Room was very small. King sized bed barely left room to walk. Hallways a bit noisy Breakfast bar not kept up well Maids did not refurbish certain items in room, such as coffee and toilet paper. The rooms could be a little bigger but they were clean and quiet. The room had a musty smell. Coffee in the morning ran out. Bath mat in roon moldy- reported first day & again when I left on 3rd day- same with sink that wouldn't drain. nothing. I really wish breakfast hours extended until 10 a.m. room was small, but it was good for one night. No smoking. They let ppl smoke in the back room by the pool. The toilet kept running. Bed was somewhat uncomfortable. bathroom wall needed repair.
