the ocean view, the pool,hot tub nearness of the beach. They had a nice BBQ area for guests to use. The staff. The whole resort was filthy. Our room had a leak and there was poop and a towel in the toilet. When our kids were small, we came to Myrtle Beach at least once per year. Since then, we have taken more exotic vacations often outside the US. But this year, we decided to go back to the beach for a few days. The Schooner Beach and Racquet Club is just an old property that needs lots of updating. If it were under the Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Choice umbrella, the property would lose the flag because of not being up to standards.
