I love the condo, it was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed in 206H. The patio was not very clean, but did enjoy the ducks from the inside. Pool was nice, did not get to enjoy the Lazy river due to a foot break while staying here. I would recommend. It is a nice place to just get away and you don't have the bustle of all the traffic in Myrtle. Had shuttle to the beach and had various activities you could do. Very Quiet. Don't understand the golf thing, because it isn'.
all reviews » Love the units. Spacious and has everything you could need. Kiddie pool and lazy river are great for the little ones and big pool good for older kids. Both pools have hot tub for mommies and daddies and always plenty of seating and tables. Staff is very accomodating. I have searched all over the east coast and this is by far the best value...big family looking for lots of space? Privacy for parents (master suite) and separate bathroom for the kids? Look no more! We have stayed here 4 times and . I enjoyed the rooms and pools. It wasn't over crowded and the lazy river wad a hit for our kids. The only problem I had was when I booked the rooms I asked for handicap accessible BC my grandmother can't walk. Unfortunately she wasn't able to come so the room we had was fine...but I wish they had paid attention BC if she had come the room would not have worked. My family and I loved the relaxation and quitness we got while we were there. It was very nice and clean. My favorite thing about it was walking out on the back porch in the morning time and seeing the wildlife coming down the little river and seeing the turtles. Got a lot of great pictures of them. Great value and great proximity to the office beach. In room extras provided by resort were helpful. Front desk staff could be trained a little more on professionalism but were not rude. In door pool great sun it rained. There was no weekend restaurant. Would stay again for the price. Most of the staff were excellent. The place was great. I enjoyed my stay. I inquired about an up-graded but did not received a re-turn call. We did not make an issue about it, because I did not asked for preference when I booked.The ratings is the reason I came to Plantation Resort. The villa was clean and comfortable. We had a nice view. It was well stocked for our basic needs. Everything in the place worked except a few TVs. We enjoyed the pools. The staff was helpful. My kids were thrilled with it. It was a great value. I would return. I enjoyed how spacious our 2 bedroom apartment was... Everything was clean & modern. The kids absolutely loved the lazy river pool!! I will definitely rebook before the summer is out. The staff were professional yet funny & down to earth. It had both indoor and outdoor facilities....very beneficial for young kids and rainy days. The shower was separate from the toilet in the second bathroom which was also helpful with 5 people staying in the suite. Love it!. Friendly staff! Our room was not in the "system" which could have been a dreadful experience, but it was handled professionally, and we were very satisfied in the end! We will definitely bring our family back again!. the size of the apartment all of the essentials in the kitchen washer and dryer shuttle convenience to all that myrtle beach had to offer pool area was very nice. I love the accomodations for our family and the kids loved the pool. the room was very spacious and fit us well. It wasn't too far from the attractions. my family and I loved the resort, staff was wonderful, place looked awesome, family friendly.. we can'T wait to stay here again next year :). From the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Clean condos, all cook utencils, cold a/c and the water park. I loved the fact that it had all the comforts of home. We were no more than a 15 minute drive from major attractions at Myrtle Beach. I loved my villa! It came completely stocked with everything. The location was great and the lazy river and kiddie pool were lovely. I loved the lazy river the gym and spa. Also the fact that the extra room that we needed was not nearly as expensive as I assumed. I loved the condo, it was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful..The outdoor pool was great... The place was great! Everything was excellent. Everything was within distance. Everything about the resort was great. Patio was very dirty. The chairs outside were cheap and very moldy. I have no complaints. I am a full-time online student at the University of Phoenix, and while I was at your resort from Friday-Sunday I was unable to connect to the internet and do my schoolwork. I was a little upset about that because no matter how hard I tried to connect to the internet it kept saying that I had no internet access. Also, I think that you need to add a volleyball and horseshoe section for families to play. Didn't like having to strip our beds as part of check out....why assess the additional fees if I have to work like staff? Limited maintenance on the weekend. The chairs on the patio needed cleaning. When I checked in, I was not informed of your discounts or explanations of additional fees. The young lady could use a refresher course in customer services. While checking for bed bugs, we found thinks on the mattresses - maybe those should be checked. The staff was helpful, but often appeared overworked. The villa was cleaned but needed some minor repairs (scrapes, holes, mirror in bedroom not hung, TVs in bedrooms did not work). There was a huge mix up with my booking & somehow my reservation was cancelled! (Later fixed) The microwave in our unit beeped non stop & we had to unplug it. broken blinds in living room the set up of the bathroom. We found undergarments from the previous stay by the bed. The bed was somehow uncomfortable. The carpet in the master room seemed clean but outdated. The $95.00 resort fee is somewhat steep. I did not like that the loft/3rd bedroom did not have a door. nothing against the resort but we had some pretty loud guests upstairs from us, I had to call security because of the noise. Check out time was a little too early and when I asked for a later checkout I was only given 30minutes instead of the full hour. The doors locked on the patio when I went outside.. The front door door had issues also...Maintenance had to let me in.. That they were not trailer friendly. We had asked for a 1st level unit, due to our handicapped grandchild. We were given a second floor unit. Upon arrival we were told there were no first floor rooms available. We made due, but we had difficulty getting wheelchair up. No elevators. Our visit wasn't long enuf !!!.. we were spoiled.... The indoor pool and playground arear was smaller than advertised. I was really surprised at how small both were. The price, with all the extra taxes. I didn't like the barking dog above me, I was alone an quietness was what I most wanted on my trip! I didn't realize what I had ordered on the booking, I didn't understand why booking Price e was $202.00, but I was charged $310.00 . Which The place was extremely nice I myself barely messed the room or used any jacuzzi, or pool , etc!! Just seemed a little much!. not enough towels for 12 people. The last night the ppl above us were very loud and the squeaky floor woke our children up for hours. Time share presentation, cost, actually in surfside beach not myrtle beach. I reserved the room as a rate of $550.00 only to find out there was additional cost of $150.00 that was not mentioned to me until I signed in. I would think twice about using letsbookhotel.com. It's nothing not to like. Bed was a little too hard. My first room...they moved me. We had a really hard time sleeping as the people upstairs of us ran the washing machine late at night and then walked very loudly across the floors until wee hours of the morning and then were up and stomping across the floors in the early morning hours. Definately no sleeping in around this place. We have stayed in much quieter places along the beach. This place was not quiet at all. None. Everything closes early. The game room. Only a few games worked. Nothing. When we signed up it said we would have 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa. We actually had a King bed with 2 sleepers. The sleeper in the bedroom was not comfortable at all. Entering & exiting from Rt 17, Service roads should go away. No happy hour. When checking in I was told that the orientation would take no more than 90 minutes (30 minutes for lunch, 60 minutes orientation)..once we checked in at the orientation the sales associate told us it would be no less than 3 to 4 hours..thats a huge difference..also, we were told that the $75 in coupons could be transferred to a gift card to be used at any restaurant, also found out this was not accurate information.
