It was an excellent location and exactly what I expected. Not fancy but comfortable and quiet-we were there mid-week. Good value and we enjoyed the amenities at Sole East Resort as well, which is lovely.
The decor was beautiful and the hotel stood out among the outdated surroundings, from the exterior. The access to the amenities at Resort were also nice, and the pool there was beautiful.all reviews »

Location close to beach.
I liked the fact that the hotel was across the street from the beach and right in town. Parking was convenient and always available. There are two locations to choose from and you can use the amenities at both when you are a guest. The hotel gave complimentary Aveda products.
we liked that it had AC, as well as the two comfortable queen beds. the fact it was within walking distance was definately a plus!.
The sheets and pillows were of nice quality.

The bathroom was not updated and when we complained about the light outside our room being out no one repaired it. The walls are also paper thin and you could hear dogs in neighboring rooms and young ladies playing techno music. There were also no phones in the room to call down to the office to complain about these things!.

Our door lock was impossible to open. You had to fiddle and jiggle it to get it open. I also felt the distance between the other related resort was misreprsented.
No pool at the beach location hotel. Bathrooms are old and could be cleaner. They should have d-humidifiers because the carpets were always wet due to the humidity, leaving a musky odor in the room. No kitchen. There is room to put studio sized stove, sinks, refrigerators, and a few cabinets.
power outlets holes were slightly too large for general use, meaning the phone chargers wouldn't stay in, the fridge wasn't working, there were a few bugs and loose hairs stuck to the bathroom walls upon arrival... but otherwise, it was fine.
They could have bought a lot of goodwill by being less cheap about small things, like making you ask for more than two towels EVERYDAY for a room for four people. And the rooms were barely cleaned by the made--I think she wiped the sink and empty trash. They never vacuumed or wiped the tables or changed the sheets during a week stay. Very low amenity place--not even a closet in the room and the tv's were the size of laptops.
Cheap feeling accommodations, length of time to check in, no amenities i.e. ice machine.
