Desk clerk very helpful in changing room when first room had slow drip leak under sink. Older but good TV set in room; room refrigerator & microwave. Breakfast coupons provided to use at adjoining but independent IHOP. The location is relatively convenient to the N.O. airport. Newly decorated and furnished rooms are awesome. My room was large and had a mini fridge and microwave. Bed, pillow, and linens were clean, new, and comfy. Great shower and breakfast at the ihop located on site the next morning was delish.

I really had an air condition problem at home and this hotel is close to home. I liked the nice bed and bath facilities. That Ihop was in the hotel. I really did not have to leave for anything. I like the 24 hour IHOP being available any time for the good coffee. The whole facility including the Ihop attached to the hotel. Good location and accommodations......clean and comfortable. We liked the size and value of the room. Very comfortable. The beds were great ! So was the staff and breakfast!!. nice pool with room on ground floor for easy access. My morning cold shower SINCE THERE WAS NO HOT OR EVEN WARM WATER IN THE SHOWER. It was 6 a.m. where could the hot water be?. Location close to French quarters - most of staff was friendly except the cleaning lady who didn't respond to "hello" - she blank looked us :). Although located adjacent to I-10 and easy to see therefrom, the service road access on returning to the interstate requires some maneuvering. Didn't like that they pre-authorized my card for the amount bigger that was supposed to be charged. Good though, that this amount was released the next day. Hotel located in 10 minutes car drive from French Quarter in New Orleans which is good if you stay one night and not very convenient if you come to visit the city for several days. It was a little noisy as the outside sounds came through the walls/windows but I managed to sleep okay. I did not know that my room package included free continental breakfast until I had bought a breakfast. This should have been stated when checking in. Leaving,I did not have enough time to enjoy my room, because of all the going I did. The place was cool. I can't really complain. The balcony door was broke and very hard to open and close. VERY unfriendly lady at the front desk. She did not seem to want to accommodate anyone and was very abrasive. The receptionist was very rude to everyone!. Nothing. A dead roach was in the hall outside our room for two days. Wi-Fi didn't work on my computer but it is an old computer. I've stayed at Days In in Metairie many times, how do I get on the rewards program?. Everything was ok. My reservations were for two rooms with King Size Bed. But when we arrived there was only a reservation for one room. The hotel was booked that weekend. Lucky someone had cancelled because this would have been a serious problem!. Everything!!!!!! The hotel was old and nasty. Musty moisture smells in hallways especially on the first floor hallway. Water issues in the bathroom. No hot water in shower. Elevator and ice machine were broke, but everything else was just fine for a budget hotel. Not being able to check in at 2:30 because she "didn't have any rooms ready" but being awoken at 9am every morning by housekeeping trying to clean our room. FIX THE ELEVATOR!!. I asked for a wake up call and didn't get it-I almost missed my flight. I was dismayed that I couldn't settle up the night before. The room was acceptable except for two things, the mattress was so hard, my husband and I felt we had been in a wreck. Very little sleep with a very important meeting that morning!! Also, smell room when AC was cut back. The staff called who dat cab service and wanted to charge us over $80 for a 7 mile drive - and he even stopped for $3 worth of gas with us in cab. Huge rip off! We also weren't informed about the complimentary breakfast until the next morning after we already had breakfast. Elevator didn't work well and the shower in our bathroom wouldn't drain - you're standing in 6 inches of dirty water while you shower. Bed was awful. Needed a new mattress. The elevator broke down. The hotel needs some maintenance. Elevator malfunctioned but walking stairs wasnt the worst thing in life. No hot water until we complained and then they fixed it. Closest Elevator didnt work. Carpet in the room was stained and that made the carpet look unclean. The room looked dated. The hotel is visible from the interstate but not easy to drive right up to the facility. Located on feeder rd. Not easy to get into ., the hotel was dated, rust around shower head, sluggish flushing toilet, drink spill in the elevator was left until am with sticky residue.I Will not stay again. Pool water dirty..would have liked breakfast include. Booking number: 927206592 pin Code: 4419... Queen Room with Two Queen Beds us$ 134... Instead I was given a one bed/ with sofa bed.. For same price .. very dissappointed !!!!. It was a little far from downtown without a vehicle. The hotel has definitely not been well maintained over the past cole of years. The woman that checked us in wouldn't even get off the phone - she just handed me the keys and gestured to the elevator.
