The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was actually better than expected. And this hotel offered more than just a continental breakfast, it was a full on breakfast. We not only stayed at this Quality Inn on the way to Disney World, but we stayed again on the way back and if we're ever in the area again, this Quality Inn has a return customer and I will recommend it to family and friends.
all reviews » The queen suite was very spacious! Also enjoyed the microwave and refrigerator. Glynis at the front desk was so very hospitable. Upon request she took us up to look at room before we checked in! She treated us as if we were coming into her own home!. We were in town for our son-in-laws graduation, we just stayed overnight. It was great for the money you spent, very affordable. It was also close to everything - fast food, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, you name it!. It was a great place to stop for the night after driving for many hours. We found the staff friendly, rooms clean, quiet area, good breakfast. Close to restaurants for dinner. I have no complaints on this property. The free breakfast bar was great! The facility was clean and comfortable and was easy to locate right off the interstate. The hotel was very clean and the price was great. The staff was courteous and most helpful. We had no complaints. The price and location the folks were very accommodating we will stay there again. We'd just spent a week at a Quality Inn in Clarksville, TN, and figured we could count on something comfortable, clean and reasonable. The guy at the desk was very nice !. Breakfast was good. Not too thrilled with outside corridors, but in a location like Macon, ga, we felt fine. Interesting some others were grilling off the tailgate of their pick up truck. However, it did not bother us in the least--- just had not seen that before. One in our party felt she had a "long" walk to the breakfast in the main building. The beds were outfitted with 4 small half-size pillows instead of two full-size pillows. I didn't find that too comfortable but for a one-night stay it was fine. All was fine. Desk chair was not comfortable. The internet was useless & had to sit in the lobby to use it. Why can't places be honest about their internet capabilities!. Room was very hot upon arrival and took several hours to become comfortable to sleep. Bed had an ink stain which made for an unclean feel to the stay. Dirty carpets. The property AND the room are dated and in need of some upgrading. Didn't "hold a candle" to the Quality Inn in TN. It was "decent" enough and not nasty; but, wasn't particularly neat and clean either; The bed cover was even wrinkled :-/. The room smelled like smoke !! and when we got home all of our clothes smelled like smoke !. The room was fair. We asked nonsmoking and got smoking. Holes in bedspread were stitched poorly and just put back on bed. Two towels were not clean. Refrigerator knob was broken so you could not set temperature to cool it down.
