The staff was exceptional! We especially liked the bellman who helped us park our car with the car-top carrier in a special place so it fit in the garage. He gave us handwritten directions to a couple of places that made our trip extra special! He is a gem!! He worked the evening we got there, May 29th. Wonderful, helpful man!. The staff was wonderful to me. While I was there I got news that a friend back home had died. I was shattred. One of the workers at the desk was so helpful getting me every thing I needed. She even brought me candy and a sympathy card. I cannot express how much that meant.
all reviews » I liked the room,it was clean and the beds were comfortable,I really liked the view from our room it was awsome,the staff were friendly,and when I needed something they did everything they could to help us I would stay there again and plan to in the near future. Everything was perfect (check in speed, room, accommodations, breakfast, cleanness) and for a price above from the average for this level of hotel. Micah at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful when he checked us in. A wonderful hotel representative. Close to 4th Street Live. I liked the fact it was located within walking distance of pretty much all the downtown attractions.. The location was perfect and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Location was good. The only thing I didn't like the bathrooms were to small,But it still wasn't that bad,like I said I would stay there again. Nothing really, other than they could provide parking free. Was told hotel had shuttle to nightlife when I called. In reality, shuttle is not always available. When I called, I was put on hold and ended up being connected to another customer who was on hold. It was very frustrating to have to call back because of this. I didn't like the fact that a reputable hotel like this would pick your pocket for 10$ a day to park there even after paying to stay there.. Come on, are you that greedy??. That I was not able to stay longer. The window in the room only had sheer curtains, no heavier curtains to block out outside lights at night. The view from our room was the parking structure. Room 226. Change out the lamp shades!. Temp settings too cold, hard to change or then got too hot. Unable to get the room cooler. The room was not hot but would have preferred it a wee bit cooler. Paying for parking at the hotel. Small bathroom. too much chlorine in the pool. A bit expensive. the view. Had to pay for parking, didn't get a requested wake-up call, a little too pricey for the room, no fridge in room. For the price we paid I expected a little more. Alcoholic beverages allowed. Not being able to get in pool, 20 people in pool with glass open beer bottles. Charged for parking. I don't think you should have to pay to park ten dollars a day . And the price is a little high.it could use a hot tub. 1) Guests had to pay to park. 2) Some of the desk staff had trouble with reservations. 3) The breakfast staff had trouble keeping up with busy week-end, football guests need for food. 4) Furniture in room was dated . 5) No complimentary ride to airport!!. Paying to park. Also a bit pricey for the location. I was not happy with the staff they were very rude.
