Everything was great! We had a wonderful time from start to finish. Booking the room was easy and the location was exactly what we were looking for...close to fun things to do in the White Mountains! The manager that checked us in (and out the next day) made the entire experience A+. He recommended local areas of interest for us to visit and places in town for us to eat. We had stated that we were on a budget and he had no problem pointing out all the hidden gems of the area we might like to s.
all reviews » It was very quiet , especially at night when sleeping and early morning. It was in a perfect location to where we wanted to explore while in New Hampshire. It was nice to not have so many people in one hotel like the bigger chain hotels. The room was clean, and well worth our dollar. The jacuzzi was spotless and private, and the staff was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a nice and cheap place to stay for a few nights. I like that they took care of the gounds. I like that they were pet friendly. the staff was so personable it felt like I was a guest in there home. The hotel was well maintained. We were there for the NH Highland Games.We were allowed to check in early by the very courteous and helpful desk clerk. Shuttle to the games picked us up right at the Motel. Staff was very good. You could tell Ken cared about the guests experience. It wasn't just a job for him. He was very helpful. Even thou the place was older it was clean. only spent the one night but it was clean, near attractions staff was super friendly. My husband and I are smokers, they changed our room so we could smoke- no issues !. plenty of space in the room with comfortable bed. the location near the beginning of the kancamahus highway and other natural attractions is great. very friendly staff. - Ken at the office was extremely friendly and helpful - Not the newest motel but very clean and in good shape for its age - very good value for money. We were warmly greeted and made to feel very comfortable. I think the gentleman a name was ken that checked us in. He was very pleasant and helpful!. Nice and peaceful. Relaxing. Great location. Location. I would have like to have a microwave in the room and the hot tub was nice but all the jets were not working when we were there. If I had to pick something I didn't like it would be the coffee! I wish they had coffee in the office the room coffee maker was noisy and I couldnt make it with out waking the rest of the family. the nearst dunkin donuts was almost ten minute ride away. The room was booked as a 'family' suite. I have no idea how they determined it to be a family suite as there was only two beds. I believe I paid a little extra as it was classified as a family suite. Looked like a normal room to me. All things considered (price, location and cleanliness) it was dated. I think it could use a few upgrades (bathrooms) to bring up the appeal. Not a deal breaker but it would go a long way. again we stayed only one night- but for that night every thing was great. everything fine. the plumbing needs bit of attention but referred this to maintenance so am sure will be sorted. Everything was fine for us. Nothing. lack of microwave matress too soft...but that is just a personal preference. Nothing. Bed was too hard!,no coffee in room,Tv too small, Also when I pulled the bedside table out to plug in my phone charger there was alot of dirt including someones toenail clipings :(. Rooms a little outdated, bathroom cramped. No complaints. No shampoo conditioner in room. Had to ask for it. The shower was not great because a low water pressure. No breakfast options. Room faced the parking lot, when back windows faced the mountains. The location is much prettier than the motel design presents. Bad Maid Service. nothing. The room was run down - but yet was very comfortable to stay in. There were some cosmetic things that could be done - paint in the room, fix the broken tiles in the bath area - but other than that it was a nice place to stay. In need of a major overall. Threadbare curtains, paper thin sheets, cigarette burns in the bed spread. Freindly staff, clean. A way to save money if all you want is a bed, a roof and a shower. Would prefer white sheet$.
