The staff was very accommodating. I went searching for ice late one night, and the ice machine was broken. A staff member offered to fill my bucket in the bar and also brought me some sliced lemons to go with it. Great location if you are visiting uk. Close to downtown also. Room was very clean. Room was comfortable & clean. Location was great, close to Keeneland racetrack.
all reviews » Great staff; always love the comfortable beds in a Crowne Plaza. Gracious lobby and shops, comfortable room, nice appointments. Free coffee and cookies. Nice employees. Historical and creepy in a good way. Close to downtown. They had rooms available when other facilitites were booked. The proximity to downtown was a good alternative when downtown facilities were full. Value for money was good. Good options on TV. The staff was really friendly. The staff. Exterior was attractive Good location. Really enjoyed the ambiance, friendly staff, great customer care and service. Comfortable beds so our sleep was fantastic. Cleanliness of the room, and comfort. The facilities are past their prime, with a sagging shower curtain rod in the bathroom and some wallpaper coming off the wall. That said, we were comfortable. Rooms could use some updating. Heater was pretty loud. old/musty smelling. Hotel needs a little work; pool was deserted and seemed like sort of a "forgotten" area. Deck area was piled with extra banquet chairs. Some ice machines are not functioning. Really small bath, compared to other amenities. No outside pool. No continental breakfast. Shower activator was hard to operate. Pool was not open all morning and it was the reason I choose to stay due to the indoor pool for my kids. A little disappointed but that happens sometimes and understandable. Room was long distance from food facilities and the directions were not good. Hallways smelled musky. I was really disappointed in the room. It was not in very good shape and very small. When I checked out, the printer was not working so I did not get a receipt. I had stayed there before and they had a fabulous Sunday brunch which they no longer offer. Accomodations were too old!. Hotel has interior decor from 70's Poorly lit, dark Bad Food No effort to be energy efficient. Blamed your site for an incorrect reservation. Updates to the restroom as it was very clean but the caulking around the tub seemed old and uneven. It almost seemed like the tub had been replaced at some point, but the new tub was smaller by a half an inch and you could see the difference from where the wall met the tub liner. The toilet flush seemed weak, had to ask maintenance to unclog the toilet.
