The hotel was a disaster: no elevator, no pool, no restaurant -- this was due to Sandy Hurrican from last Nov/Oct. It is now end of May and these things have not been fixed. I liked their reason to an extent . . . but by now, should be fixed. The staff was wonderful. Great location. It was near main roads, but away from the hustle bustle. Had a beautiful view of woods out the window. Nice breakfast and coffee. Thanks! LOVED their soap and mouthwash!!!.
all reviews » Staff was awesome, rooms were clean, but simple.. Which considering price we got 2 night for, fine. Remodeling almost completed. Rooms are fine. Staff friendly. Everything was nice we new going there it was under repair. Excellent wifi connectivity. Nice golf courses nearby. Clean, quite, not expensive. Clean and friendly. Breakfast was good. Very nice staff. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We asked if we could extend checkout and they were very willing to do that for us. Rooms were clean - had a musty smell though. It could have used some sprucing up - we drove up and didn't even realize we had reached our destination. Room was clean and staff was very honest and helpfull as it was 1st visit down for nascar race. The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower pressure was good. Close to where I had to go, easy access to Rt.80. Quiet location, but near highways. Breakfast and lady working great. The night staff member did try his best to rectify the problems we had with our rooms. We did leave a note for the Manager in the morning expressing or concerns. Hopefully they will revive the Ramada brand in the future. The staff was very friendly. They tried ther best to accommodate our needs. The continental breakfast was great. Nothing except the cheap rate we got through bookings.com. good location for Cigarfest. The cosy atmosphere. Area was nice. From check in, to check out was on happy, this place was filthy and dirty, would not come back here. Not much! The price probably. Close to pocono speedway. nothing. Sheets. nohing. letsbookhotel.com had the wrong address to this hotel. letsbookhotel.com put the hotel on Lake Harmony. The hotel is in the town of Lake Harmony... About 20 minute drive away. Also, letsbookhotel.com advertised the room as having a jacusii (spelling?), and it did not. Very unhappy with letsbookhotel.com. Nothing major. A few outlets didn't work. The towel rack fell down a few times. One of the beds was oddly lumpy. Luckily, it was just on one side. All in all, though, the staff went out of their way and you knew they wanted you to have a great stay. No bed service for our second night - returned to beds unmade. *Suggest a call to front desk to assure beds are made. Elevators were broke, pool closed due to hurricane Sandy - Can't really fault them there.. waiting on insurance matters to work out. Restaurant menu very limited, perhaps because remodeling not yet completed. Elevators resturant closed pool closed. Hard to describe anything else. We were there for 1 night only. Pool, restaurant were not operating. My understanding the beginning of July they would be. Shower was cold. we missed having all the amenities but we were told in advance that they were not available. My room wasn't clean in two nights that I stayed there. The elevator doesn't work. The pool wad not working neither And the staff didn't care about us. I will never stay at a Ramada agaon. Grounds were not kept - weeds, grass needed cutting, not attractive at all when we pulled up. Sadly, the restaurant was closed as was the pool area so things looked a bit dingy BUT - the rooms were clean and it was quiet. Staff at front desk was friendly and accommodating. - No elevator and room was on 4th floor - no pool - no vending - no coffee or continental breakfast * worst part was that i did not find out about these till we arrived. It was a long wait to check in because their system was down. There was a musty smell in the room. Bathroom needs updating. Doors did not work properly Ice machines were broken Heater was noisy. After booking with letsbookhotel.com, I went to Ramada website to get directions and found that just about every amenity was not currently offered due to maintenance. It would've been nice to know beforehand. When I got to hotel, they must've been having trouble with wi-fi because I kept being booted off and when I called front desk they said they had called their server and it should be fixed. It was all right for several hours but about 8 pm it went out again and I never got it back. Friday no bar kitchen closed sat bartender a jerk no tap beer had no personality told me did not feel like working Friday my daughter ask for hot chocolate told me don't do that kitchen closed we stayed last year had a great stay do not see us coming back next year. Room was not made up or cleaned after the first night of stay. The hotel is going through renovations and there were no facilities, ie pool, restaurant, etc. The rooms where not cleaned when we arrived so had to change. Keys did not work in the doors and no towels in one room. The air-conditioning made everything in the room damp. The heat was broken in the lobby and as a result the lobby was freezing. The bar was also freezing, the bartender was asking us how to make the drinks. The room temperature was either very hot or very cold. Everything. Unprofessional, discourteous staff. Zero amenities. Building was in disrepair. Key cards didn't work in doors. If I were Ramada I would be embarrassed to have my name attached to this hotel. After this stay we are highly unlikely to stay at a Ramada again. Elevator didn't work well. Facility looks run down in general. Many of the facilities were closed. The location wasn't as close to the hiking as was expected. Breakfast was never available even though we went before 11 am. Hotel was not where it was portrayed to be, address was of a resort on the lake (not a ramada), map of location was totally wrong again depicting the resort, pool was closed due to sandy?, Only one restaurant etc. There were only 3-4 rooms booked total for the whole hotel. No breakfast, no pool...nothing. They left all the entrances open as they security system was not working so it did not feel safe either. Probably one of the worst hotel there is out there at this point. Room was dirty Floors not cleaned (pubic hairs on bathroom floor) Smoking room with no ashtrays Paper, no pen/pencil Hotel provided body lotion & conditioner. no soap or shampoo. For 2 nights of our stay, we had no maid service, no clean towls no coffee. I've never had an experience like this in the us!. Bathroom was dirty, hallways had a odor in them, elevators didn't work, the bar, pool & resturant closed. To much money for what I got. very run down, dirty, we entered through the side door of hotel which didn't even have a lock! will never return!. Cleanses Black ice Breakfast No swimming pool I got pic for the table in the room I can send it if u want. everything. The room smell like mildew. The bed had a red stain on it and smelled bad. My boyfriend had to flip the mattress over. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Condom under bed water bottle under bed dirty towel behind chair 2 washcloths left in shower no coffee cups no doors worked except front door the pool was closed and we weren't made aware. Worst stay ever at a motel/hotel. everything terrible !.
