I loved the couple running the motel.. They gve us personalized care. the lady made fresh backed scones, squares and muffins for breakfast. nothing out of the box was being served. everything was original and had A very warm feeling.. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

There are a few things that could be improved on,for instance the floor in the bathroom was spongy felt like I was going to fall thru the floor.The fridge didn't quite work right,ice machine was empty we stayed 2 nights no one checked in to see if we needed towels we had them hanging from the rail outside stayed there the whole time. Not sure how long they have owned it but they were very nice and accommodating just need to work on a few things.
Very old, run-down facility. Kept as clean as possible, I suppose, but ancient rugs impossible to clean, etc. Wife refused to use old yellowed shower (no tub). A large person would not have been able to fit on toilet in cramped space.
need updating of facilities for the money I spent and it was quite smelly. Also airconditioner should be in bedroom not in bathroom.
The price was $40 more than what it said when I booked online , the room
was thrown together when remodeled, could have been cleaner, toilet
broken, water smelled like algae , beds not even attached to headboard ,
no extra sheets for pull out bed,.

Tv control does not match tv... So it does not function. Believe it or
not >> the lanollium covered floor right in front of toilet bowl
was so rutted away, that I almost fell through it if it was not for the
lanollium. Prior to trip..i had sent an email asking if there was a
small coffee machine available. No answer ,,and there was not one.. A
bit far from a coffee shop too.

mattress on bed was horrible rug in cabin was dirty and ripped away from wall floor not level floor in bathroom buckled from water damage...vines on railing attract a lot of bees...hard to get in and out because of that.

The place was disgustingly dirty. We had to go to Yankee candle to buy
room deodorizer to try to take the smell out of the room. The air
conditioner filter was so full,cool air couldnt blow in. The
refrigerator nasty dirty. I think the board of health should pay them a
visit.Last minute booking for us and $150.00 for the nite....aghhhhhhh.
NOthing - charged us more than you said it would be - cold, no heaters in the room only a space heater. this hotel is a summer only hotel.
