Very accommodating counter service. Had a surgery scheduled for 5:30 in morning for accompanying family member at university medical. Location was excellent for our needs and we even made it back in time to enjoy a reviving breakfast. Best bacon we've ever had a hotel. Service was wonderful. Made our situation that much easier. Thank you for that!. We liked everything about this hotel. From walking into to foyer and being greeted to the departure. The facilities were excellent and the "happy hour" by the fire with drinks and popcorn just perfect. What a great place to stay.
all reviews » The room was nice. It was clean. The staff very friendly. The Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of space to enjoy. Location for me was great since there on business. It was a very easy drive to restaurant recommended. I like best is I was able to transfer my reservation from this hotel to the other one on dyse rd. down from the mall. Staff was great, all of them. Rooms were clean, and houskeeping made up rooms nicely. Very enjoyable stay. Very comfortable and clean well kept hotel. I will always stay here when returning to Jackson. Staff extremely friendly and helpful; great full breakfast and happy hour in the evening. The courteous of the staff, breakfast was great, hot food hot, fruit fresh. "Location" for the event I was to attend was the reason I chose to Stay at Cabot. Breakfast in the Great Room was excellent. Staff very helpful. It was central to where we wanted to be. Leaving that ghetto hotel. Location for us perfect. Nothing. The bathroom was small with little space to move. Bathrooms are too small. The bathroom was not the cleanest. There was a dirty bandaid behind the door was never picked even after the bathroom was supposedely cleaned. Shower curtains were not the cleanest. bathroom tiny. No one asked a set of parents to tell their kids to quit jumping on the furniture. It was rude and annoying. The manager should have done something. Shower.Pillows. Musty smell. Sink was almost stopped up. Air conditioner made rattling noises. Tired rooms. Room 233 was terrible - mattress lumpy and not able to sleep on it, dust ruffle on beds dragging the floor, bathroom so small 2 people could not get in it at the same time, pillow cases so thin you could see the pillow ticking through them. If this is typical of Cabot Lodge, we will not stay there again. It was less than what the reviews claimed it was. I was expecting a more updated, not-so-worn-down hotel for the money. Room was not ready at check in time. The front desk staff was not helpful. The elevator was slow and smelled like mildew. I was glad to leave the next morning. Probably the oldest hotel I've ever stayed in that has not been updated nicely. Bathrooms horribly old and run down - entire hotel needs major remodeling/updating or just tear it down.
