I enjoyed my stay at Travelodge. It's a nice motel in the middle of Hurricane with nice views of Zion national park. Zion is about 30 minutes drive from here. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. Quite a few nearby restaurants within walking distance. My room was excellent: clean, spacious and comfortable. Fairly good breakfast is included in the price. The location is great for those who want to explore the Zion National Park (and to avoid the immodest prices of lodgings located in the park itself).
all reviews » The staff was extremely accommodating to our needs. We needed a late check out due to a marathon we were running, which ran late. They were very gracious, professional, and friendly the entire time. Very nice motel for the money. Owner/desk clerk very helpful with area. Clean with all the amenities - coffee, continental breakfast, hair dryer... There were many fast food resturants to choose from. The location was far enough from St. George that the accomidations were fair priced. Location, price and clean comfort. Everything about this budget priced motel was great. Our room appeared to be recently updated. It's a nice, clean, space motel. Great location. several restaurants nearby. Breakfast is average. Travelodges are usually a safe choice fore us if we want to stop by somewhere budget friendly for a couple of nights, but still expecting some level of quality. We did not get disappointed this time either . Hotel was clean from the outside, at Checking the Staff was friendly but made us wait in the Lobby for almost 10 minutes before someone showed up, Room was clean but very noisy. For good food go to Baristas Restaurant 460 W State St. Clean and friendly. Had swimming towels at the front dear and gave them to you when you checked in. Good breakfast, clean rooms. The situation. easy to find. Good location, breakfast was good, easy to find, local amenities within walking distance. It was close to the park. Wifi was decently fast. The price was ok. Breakfast area was too hot. I am not sure why the heating was on when it was a warm day.We had to leave and take breakfast to our room. The breakfast area is too small and easily gets crowded. That we couldn't stay a couple more nights. Like most budget motel, the AC is noise. Staff need to smile more. Breakfast okay but sometimes poorly organised. poor breakfast. Nothing. can't think of any. Pool is tiny and right by the main road. No real space to sunbathe (not that you would want to). Breakfast not great but have had worse. Not much to do in Hurricane. Springdale is nicer but also a lot dearer. Small area to eat breakfast. Basic no frills. nothing. poor continental breakfast like in other Travelodge hotels. A little run down. none. Breakfast was very basic. If you like basic toast and notuch else you will be fine. Ow go to mc Donald's like we did one block down. Free breakfast had only waffles, toast, and cold cereal. The only thing that didn't seem to fit the rest of the hotel was the breakfast room. It was very small and crowded. It also seemed very messy. Visiting Zion, the place is about a half an hour drive, if you prepared for this, there is not much else to the downside of this motel . room was very noise, heared downstairs guy snor all night, Doors seal was almost none existing you could see right through it. Breakfast was supposed to be continental they had toast, cereal pancake 1 doughnut but nothing healty disapointing. Needs verity for breakfast only has a few items . More parking. The breakfast room is very small and can get crowded. It is also very wasteful to have to use polystyrene disposable plates and cutlery for breakfast. The location is ok, but it is still a 25 min drive to Zion national park and the eating options in Hurricane are mainly limited to standard chain eateries. Cable TV, small. Room was dirty, carpets hadn't been properly hoovered in a long time, bed sheets/pillows were stained and I woke up with lots if bites on me, my friend who was staying in the same room in a different bed didn't get bitten though. Lack of customer service, inability to get a receipt printed. I asked but the guy could not figure out how to use the system. We found the managers rude and abrupt. They gave us a room that had a known broken door handle, and sent maintenance there after we checked in. I had to insist they gave us a new room. I would not recommend this hotel. It is not the only one in the area. The room was very dirty. We had first to clean the freezer which was disgusting. We complaint at the front desk with no result. no great restaurants. Rude front desk person The 'Zion National Park' in the title is very misleading....its 45 minutes from the park. The bed sheets were loose, the beds sagged, and the place had a bad feel. The management treated me horrible from check in until we left a day earlier than we had scheduled and drove to a different facility because I was so upset. Horrible stay from beginning to end.
