The manager at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was updated and clean. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful as well. The hotel is in a nice area. We had some items strapped to our roof...just chairs, but I had no concern about leaving them outside strapped to the roof. It was a very convenient spot as well. We were close to stores, gas stations and guests we were visiting. The price was good. We enjoyed our stay and I would certainly recommend Red Roof in Hambur.
all reviews » There was a problem with our reservation. We reserved a room with two double beds and when we got there, the room only had one bed. We were three people. On the spot the staff gave us a second room, upgraded, at no charge. That is great service!. really like the staff went out of the way to make us comfortable and enjoy our stay. Easy access to the highway. Front desk staff helpful. Good value. Price and proximity to the activities we were in town for. I loved the room, there wasn't anything to complain about. Location, Quite at night, very attentive staff. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. easy on and off , close to eats , etc. It was a place to lay my head!. very comfortable stay. location and price. very clean. location and the view. The way it is constructed, not like a building with rooms but more of a homely touch to your stay. Accommodations were good for the money. We were given a mini fridge/microwave at no extra cost. The room was clean, as was the linen. The staff was courteous. Thanks. Location and cleanliness. Everything was great!. A bit of highway noise. Shower was old and needed upgrading. The room needed to be aired out more now that it is a non smoking room - can't get rid of the smell of stale smoke. absolutely nothing. Bathtub was Very SLOW to drain water over the top of ankles when showering. Nothing . Everything was great. There was an odor in the room which was unpleasant and they blamed it on the need to clean the a/c units! They also overcharged me $10.00 each night I stayed from what we agreed on with letsbookhotel.com. a little cramped in bathroom. need a coffee pot in the room. No coffee maker in the room. There was a depression in the tub that held a puddle of water, which was allowed to fester and resembled vomit. The bathroom vent grille was filthy, as if it had never been cleaned. The bathtub needs refinishing as it was badly chipped. It would be nice to have real milk available for the complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby. Thanks. Toilet did not flush completely. Heating/cooling unit could use some updating - broken plastic grill. Most places offer some sort of continental breakfast - only coffee and tea here.
