The place is clean and convenient to everything. The hotel staff are awesome. I have stayed there numerous times and will continue to stay there when I am in town! Excellent value for the money and the rooms are clean and comfortable. No hassles with checking in, parking, noise or accommodations. WiFi was easy to connect and good service. No frills to pay extra for whether you use them or not. No trace of smoke odor in the non-smoking room.
all reviews » Conveniently located on the old Route 66. Excellent family restaurant nearby (Crown Railroad Restaurant). Gas station 100 yards. Good location for day trip to the Grand Canyon and old mining towns in Arizona. The service was excelent! we were there for one night and actually decided to stay there again on our way back, very good price for a very good clean place and very helpfull services! From two spanish girls!. It was on historic Route 66 - close to everything in Flagstaff, 30 min to Sedona and only 75 min from Grand Canyon. It was very reasonably priced, clean, safe and had a microwave and mini refrigerator. Extremely friendly staff! Considering how much everyone else in Flagstaff was gouging prices due to the Memorial holiday weekend, this was a tremendous deal. Nice clean basic rooms at a great price with a great staff. In room facilities for eating cheap if that's for you. Great alternative to a youth hostel. The room was clean. Check in was a breeze. Bed was adequate. I've had worse at expensive hotels. The only thing I didn't like about the motel was there were no coffee pots in the rooms. Other than that, it was a nice stay. The towels are very small. There was no extra toilet paper and the office appears to be closed on Sundays so we couldn't figure out how to get more. No luggage rack so our suitcase sat on the table. Extra pillows for the king size bed would have been nice. wifi spot was a bit far away from some rooms, so not a good connection everywhere. Train whistle. A long drive to grand canyon but closer is way more expensive. doors to bathroom weren't closing properly and the tap in bath was leaking. wifi didn't work very well. nothing to complain. Very close to the train tracks. The trains run all night. Bring your own shampoo, the only thing provided is hand soap. No table or desk in the room. Shower curtain too close to shower head. The tv could use some upgrading and maybe the decor but again for the money who cares. Room had a spider in the bed (yes in the bed, under the pillow) and not all windows had drapes. Near train tracks. Was not that big a deal for the room we were in, but the noise was noticeable while awake. Shower was good except for it needs a bow shower rod, not enough room. Not enough towels or comfortable pillows. TYoilet had problems flushing had to do it 2 or 3 times each time, a/c unit kept cutting off-wasn't cooling room-even after he told us a trick to use on it. It is definitely not luxury. Didnt have bathroom complimentaries the first day. Hard beds. Missing various necessary fixtures like closet rod and towel bar. Beds were very low end. Towels were scratchy and small. Shower curtain installed improperly, making shower very cramped. Staff did not change out towels or empty trash as requested on second day did bring towels when asked.
