It's just very good option, when you need something not very expensive and 5 min drive from Yosemite National Park South entrance (near Mariposa Grove and about 20 min from Wawona). It's clean and close to the park, breakfast included which makes exploring Yosemite easier. I like the location (beautiful and relatively close to the park), liked that there was a microwave and refrigerator. It was very quiet and peaceful. We got there very late and they accommodated us by leaving us the key and instructions for finding the cabin.

I was there as a photographer to photograph Yosemite, I ended up taking additional photos of the area around the motel. Its back in the woods and a very nice spot. quiet room in the back of the building; soft lighting in shower good as nightlight; very quiet at night; manager responded quickly for problems; good quality toiletries; free breakfast; very friendly, helpful staff in restaurant. The room were very nice and cozy, when we reached there no one was on the reception but everything was so organized that we didn't have any issue. The breakfast in the morning was really nice. I would like to stay there again. Nice and Warm! Only about a 3 or 4 minute drive from my conference at Tenaya Lodge. Housekeeping didn't overdo it ... made the bed but didn't fully clean the bathroom, empty the trash or vacuum every day ... fine by me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the furniture and bathroom are outdated, the room, sheets and towels were clean. The price was perfect but we wouldn't pay more than the special rate we paid for the room. Convenient, clean, comfortable, relatively inexpensive. We brought our own bottle of wine and food and after a day in Yosemite, we drove 2 miles to our room and relaxed for the night. Perfect for Yosemite travelers. Great location for visiting Yosemite. Very accommodating for us - we had a truck and 20 foot trailer and we were able to park behind the hotel and felt very comfortable with this setup. In general, it's a nice place for travellers visiting Yosemite. Not very far from Yosemite and the price of the hotel is cheap. Besides, there are several restaurants nearby. The heater was working fine but there were some sounds coming out from the heater which was kind of annoying. Ooking from letsbookhotel.com hadn't come through. That worked out well for me, however, because I got a nice big cabin room. Refrigerator in room was LOUD. So I needed earplugs to sleep. A little bit noisy and the room is a little bit small. Low water pressure under the shower. We stayed 2 nights and the room has not been cleaned up the second day. We didn't have the towel and even if requested, they didn't provide it to us. Room is very small. Onsite restaurant closed – even though this was in high season and with no prior notice that food wasn’t available. - Walls made of paper. The place was staffed by young people that frankly were not very friendly. Got there late no food. Not a very good breakfast. Cold pancakes. Room door couldn't be locked for some reason causing me to carry any valuables with me all day long. No restaurants nearby (+/- 20 mins drive), but that's rather a tradeoff towards being close to Yosemite entrance. No restaurants or pubs near the hotel, you have to drive 15 minutes. Their own restaurant is only open during the season. needed to pay additionally for the eggs for breakfast... Breakfast Many plastics and packaging. No service staff availability during evening. Poor water supply. no supper. Their reservations system appears spotty (although mine came through fine). As a result, they were almost overbooked by the time I checked in. The room furnishings were spartan. No table, desk, or chair in room. The heater wasn't working properly the first night and I needed to sleep in a sweatsuit plus all the covers. However, they fixed it the next day, after I complained. The lodge restaurant was only open for breakfast. I feel that the beds are uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning so the room was really warm. That made it difficult to sleep. There weren't always clean towels available. Although, the breakfast is good, I feel that it is over priced. The stuff weren't too friendly,. No restaurant. Next town was 10 miles one way. The staff just seemed really unhealthy. Nice enough but I was a bit concerned with one guy who looked like he was really unwell and that's not what you want to see at breakfast time! The walls are a bit thin too so any noisy neighbours are completely audible. Small room. Thin doors and walls. Everything was basic and OK, but a bit run-down. They do not have any room service at night. The water didn't drain from the sink, shower was cramped and with low water pressure. The receptionist was quite unfriendly, almost rude. She was talking to us while she was typing on her computer, with her back towards me...It felt like committing a 'sin' to ask a question. A contrast with otherwise a great experience!. It is still quite expensive and the room smelled funny. Facilities were very old. Shower was terribly designed and barely worked. Wall plug did not work and was not by bed to plug in my cpap machine. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Towels and amenities were not checked and replenished. The room was very small, and expensive for the quality of the property.
