Upon checking in we discovered that the air-conditioning unit was broken in our room ~ I contacted the front desk and they sent their maintenance man "Jesus" (I hope I've spelt that right!) to fix it ~ he had the unit out and a new one put in within 20 minutes! Thank you Jesus for saving the day! You have a wonderful employee in him :) A well furnished room with plenty of thought put into it.
all reviews » The accommodations were above par throughout. The breakfast and its generous time frame was definitely a plus! The pool facility was also very much to our liking. We were traveling with our 5 year old son and our dog. It was a super great room that was easy to access with our pet. Very good value,with very good breakfast. A good place to stay half way between Yellowstone and Yosemite. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms very nice. The breakfast quality and variety was amazing. The exercise facilities great. LOVED our night at best western elko! We were on our way to Yellowstone. nicely appointed room with a separate switch for the bathroom fan. Pretty much the whole experience. Clean, Wifi and breakfast. Very convenient. Usually find Best Western a good value with clean and spacious rooms, good locations, helpful staff, and decent breakfasts. Clean. One of the two queen sized beds in the room we stayed in could use replacing ~ the mattress was not in good shape. The price? I think a $10.00 reduction in the cost for a nightly stay would put this location in line with what I would deem to be the norm. (Maybe a multi-night discount?). Nothing. Nothing. Was too pricey compared to comparable hotels in the area. The following are only suggestions that in my opinion would take the Inn to the next level: Exercise room needs air conditioning, fresh towels available inside (not just outside in the pool area) and a hamper for used towels, Paper towels to wipe off equipment. Remote for the TV was missing and front desk could not locate....... Otherwise- pretty darn awesome!. a/c thermostat cut on and off with no constant low setting. also irresponsible pet owner guests that don't pick up after them... we pick up after ours. recommend pet-owners be encouraged with doggy-do bags. It was a little noisy and the eggs in the breakfast not good. Priced a little too high. Room was next to laundry and staff room. Staff made lots of noise and talked loudly too early. I told them we were still sleeping. They were quiet for 5 minutes. In another 5 they knocked on our door for housekeeping! Plastic glasses! No tea!. The drunken party in the hot tub and pool area. Doesn't lend itself to a family atmosphere. Way too expensive!!!. The smoking rooms are too close to non smoking. Can catch the smell of cigarettes from your room.
