Very nice room for the price. Friendly cleaning staff. They even made an extra stop to make sure I was completely happy with my room. Nice!. This place was clean and comfortable. I will definitely consider it again when visiting. Location, price, neatness, low-key-ness. I stayed here in order to see old friends. Access to freeway. Close to restaurants and other services. Room was very pleasant.
all reviews » We came in before the check in time and they were lenient to let us!. Well appointed room, very comfortable. Big room and relatively quiet. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. At arrival we went to the room and smelled something out of the ordinary (smelled like pee I think) After reporting this we received an other room at once. Breakfast service was good and enough variety. Enough space to sit (outside of the weekend) Price v.s. quality was reasonable, considering the pros and cons. Very clean, comfortable, very nice room. Price-performance good. SF center 15 mins with car is really good time. Consider 6 dollars toll however on bridge. the rooms were clean and very comfortable.It was ideal to get to where we wanted to go with easy access to freeway, El Cerrito and the surrounding area. close to the highway ，easy to reach the SFO. Location near BART Cheap. low cost. The front desk clerk was friendly-and tried to help when requested. Not much! The location and area is what it is. nothing significant. Tv in the breakfast room was very distracting and loud. We turned down the volume and people there thanked us. Freeway noise - being really close to the highway has advantages and disadvantages. The Breakfast could include an egg to compensate just sweet things. Location is a bit dicey. The elevator smelled like dog food of some kind. The were road works in front of the Hotel which started very early in the morning. Our room was on THAT side of the Hotel, which was very... VERY annoying!. Neighborhood was questionable. I would not go out at night by my self. Many homeless people at the bus station and food facilities (Jack in the Box.). Owner quite bizarre. He checked us in 2 hours before official time, was not rude but not really enthusiastic neither. Breakfast a bit poor. I understand renovation is necessary, but when we arrived there was no clue as to how to check in. The person who took care of us wasn't welcoming. Not having the elevator operable at times made it difficult for me with back problems and trying to go to third floor. smell wierd. Suspicious smell of skunk... Toilet paper dispenser was broken. Found a hair in the sink. No conditioner. Coarse towels. Pillows were too soft. Service not too friendly. That's about it. Breakfast. I was told the total rate WITH taxes was $379 but it was $417. I felt cheated. Bad localisation for our trip to san francisco. The areas was very scarey and the AC did not work - it was very pricey for the amenities and hotel:(. The food is not good. The noise of refrigerator bugs me all night.
