We were there only overnight for local family events and weren't able to avail ourselves of the amenities except breakfast but the breakfast was fine, typical. Freeway location was still quiet, at least on the other side of the hotel. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Rooms were nice and spacious. Heater was quiet and kept the room at a nice temperature. Nice breakfast. Very accommodating staff! Everyone was very friendly!.

Got the best Customer service , the staff were extremely friendly, professional and courteous and value for our money. I can suggest this accommodation to our friends. It is not a very handicapped-friendly location. Even the ramp for easier entry was difficult for our elderly mother. But then Duluth is built on hills so they probably did the best they could when modernizing. Pool was a little chilly. Driveway was a little steep for non-4 wheel drive vehicles when there was snow/ice on it. Exercise room not available. well, there was nothing that could be none about the cold and windy weather. It was somewhat noisy but not unbearable. You can hear people in the hall, ice machine, those on the stairs from the room. Also the breakfast room is pretty small and there are not enough tables. There is a meeting room they let you use but it is on a different floor. Remember no elevators. I feel the breakfast could be better. We had the same choices every day. Maybe offer some protein items, even bananas would be nice. Too many carbs now. Lugging my suitcase downstairs to the lobby from the parking lot, then bk upstairs to my room was cumbersome. 2 more pillows per bed would be great. Finding a place to park was sometimes a chore. Wish there was more supervision of the hot-tub area as there was a sign clearly posted that no children under 10 were allowed. Somebody let their little kid, complete with a life jacket, go in the hot-tub to "swim" and he proceeded to kick and splash us which was very annoying. Didn't care for the plastic sheet on the bed either. Ran out of fruit at breakfast!. The room design (bathroom/entryway to the room) it was a little cramped and the first one to rise had wake the second just because the vanity sink area wasn't secluded. That children seemed to be unattended by a parent. And had no regard for adults in the pool or whirl-pool areas. The freezing rain, ice, fog, sleet, and finding the weather followed us back to Minneapolis. Breakfast room is way too small for the size of the hotel. I had got the room through bookiing.com and paid $89+tax. Others told me they paid $62 tax included. Felt cheated. The only thing I didn't love was the size of the bathtub/shower; it was a little small for me. I can't think of anything. The mattress pad and fitted sheet would not stay on the bed and needed to be re-positioned several times during the night. This made for a very restless night's sleep. *small hot tub *no yoghurt at breakfast *lots of bread and muffins but not enough variety for non bread eater. Price somewhat high - but better than most motels in the Duluth Area. Pool was a little cool. No elevator. Noisy hallways. Breakast area is very small and crowded. Automatically charged $2.00 since they did not know if you used the safe or not. Had to ask what the charge was for and have credited back since we did not use. Breakfast was good, limited space, was crowded. parking is not so good if you check in later in the evening. noisey soccer team. Breakfast minimal and construction of course. The bathrooms size tv not working the pool was cold and the checkout seems so early compared to other places our last night we had to call the front desk a few times because the people next to us were loud drinking slamming doors and kept waking up my young son and then me. early check out time cost seemed inflated for A basic room. 1) It was a little strange to have to go up and down stairs to get in and out of the facility. 2) It seemed to take a long time to bring the temperature up in the sauna. 3) The continental breakfast was "interesting" 4) We were in a non-smoking room but could smell cirgarette smoke in our bathroom. rates double for weekends!. Carpet very dirty around edge, very dirty under bed, very dusty. Lots of noise room doors always slamming shut Good breakfast but tables not wiped off very sticky. Could've averynice hotel if room was cleaned better. We stayed 4 night had planed to stay 5 nights but left early. Our carpet was not even vacuumed biting our stay. the breakfast was dreadful. Breakfast area a disaster. Too small for the size of he hotel. Our tv did not work. They tried to fix but were without a tv for 3 days. The internet did not work. You could get online but would keep loosing and could not get back. Room was overly humid because of proximity to pool. AC was excessively noisy - like being in a jet engine. Bed not particularly comfortable. Breakfast not suitable for someone trying to eat low-carb. Pool to small. didnt receive requested wakeup call & as a consequence was late for bfst which was a battle wading thru all of the noisy kids. Booked a deluxe room expecting to have a higher quality room. Beds were very uncomfortable. The beds need to be updated. Overpriced for what you get. Location. chairs in our room most uncomfortale. Front desk lies it is very loud all night long. very noisy. Breakfast was never stocked always waiting for something rules not followed in the pool hot tub areas people were always drinking alcohol. When brought up to staff nothing was done. The rooms red to be updated for the price very disappointed..
