It may not look like much on the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised with our room! The bed was huge and so comfortable. The room was large and spacious. The shower and bathroom were very clean and looked new. They recently opened a new bar in the hotel, but we only got to peak in for a second. It looked really nice. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The front desk clerk/bartender was very friendly. She gave us a lot of information about things to do and places to eat in the area...I'm sorry I don't remember her name. It was quiet and clean and reasonably priced.
all reviews » The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very adequate and the lady keeping the tables clean was very pleasant and efficient, as was the lady on duty at the desk. The place was easily accessible. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for more coffee and to borrow some scissors. Good breakfast; waffles and biscuits with sausage gravy. Responsive staff. Comfortable 2 Queen room. No pets. Indoor pool. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and clean. The staff member who greeted us did not tell us about the elevator, possibly gave us the wrong room to begin with, and was not forthcoming about any amenities. We had to ask about everything. No elevator. Slow guest PC. Slow Wi-Fi. I didn't like that the breakfast ended at 0930, I think it should last until check out for the people that like to sleep a bit later. Bar was small, drinks were too pricey. No wonder nobody was in there long. Pool was small and only 4'9" deep. Too small to do any adult laps. Ok for young kids though. If you have trouble walking or climbing stairs beware--no elevator for 2nd floor. Our room was the farthest room from everything, pool, lobby, breakfast and parking. Could only park in front. The pool was small and no hot tub. The breakfast room was incredibly cramped and hard to move around in. There was no seating available and we were forced to sit with strangers due to the posted sign prohibiting us from taking our breakfast back to our room. The tv vhannel listing was not updated &the night clerk didnt know what channel hbo was on. This is a n advertised amenity so u should be aware. We checked In at 11pm at night. When we finally got up to our room and ready to sleep, we pulled back the covers to find big yellow and brown stains on the underneath part of the "white" comforter. It was very gross. Not only on one but both beds. When I complained in the morning the girl at the desk just said sorry and she would put a note on that room to wash the comforters. no lift. Breakfast could've had a little more variety. Pastry, eggs, & sausuage/bacon. No elevater to 2nd floor. Could use more plug ins by the beds to charge electronics. nothing. No elevator (that we knew of) as very small pool. only one chair in room. no microwave in room. it wasn't completely clean the sauna wasn't very good. We were not very pleased with the breakfast. There wasn't much offered. There were no napkins anywhere so had to use paper towels. The hallway to the fitness room was not clean. In our room the tub did not drain during and after showers. We had to stand in dirty water from the person who showered before us. It took at least 30 minutes after the last person for the tub to fully drain. It was frustrating to not be able to get truly clean. Deceiving pics on all the websites. Very small pool. Renovated in 2011? They forgot to do any of the rooms!! No light bulbs in any fixtures, no coffee pot, but had coffee. No hot tub on pool area, saunna was not working and kinda hard to find. Ad said breakfast consisted of Biscuits and Gravy etc .. but was not available. Later was told it is only served m-f (should be changed in ad .. My hisband looks for this when staying places as he does not care for other breakfast foods. Pool is rather small so get crowded easily. Smoking (cigarette container) right outside front door directly under No Smoking Sign and front desk visible but no one was made to go elsewhere to smoke. They booked me for two nights. Took the money and the second night my key did not work. They had to look up whether i had paid for two nights, one night or something Else. I thought that there was a hot tub. No..the sauna was at the other end of the hotel from the pool, and did not work. The pool was bath tub sized. Breakfast area was too crowded, no where to sit. One staff member working front desk and bar at the same time at 8pm. Rude employees. Pool was chipping on the bottom and small. No pool towels. Pool was freezing Could hear anyone walk above us. all the smokers by the front doors,checking out i had to walk through clouds of smoke twice.Strong bleach smell on sheets and towels. There was no explanation of their Happy Hour even though it was advertised out front on their sign. Led us to believe it was free, but it wasn't even too reasonable. No hottub. Rooms boasted of flat screen tvs and we did not have this in either room. Not much of a breakfast. The facilities were run down, the toilet did not work, the breakfast was ok but the room was not very inviting. The outside doors did not lock for security and it was just needing lots of repair!. We walked in to the room we were first given but it was already occupied. Luckily, the occupant wasn't in the room at the time. And the beds & pillows were not comfortable at all and did not sleep well. Cleanliness of hotel needs attention. Stains on ceiling in bathroom. Marks on mattress pads & top blankets were evidence they had not been washed. Some of the washclothes were very worn & gray. Beds were worn out. Carpets needed cleaned. Bookings. Com hasn't responded to three emails that my reservation was wrong. Rooms were poor and tiny. Hotel was very outdated and not very clean. It advertised breakfast buffet but it was actually a continental breakfast (false advertising). No heat for pool, no whirlpool, location, and ice machine locations, and small lobby. Advertised as remodeled.....it was only a cosmetic upgrade at best. This motel was not clean. Continental breakfast was poor. Will second guess staying at any Beaumont Inn again because of this experience. everything. The bed was terrible. It visibly sagged in the middle and was very uncomfortable. The tub had hair in it when we checked in.
