We stayed at this hotel on our road trip to California. We actually booked the room to be able to visit la at a lower budget and with free parking. Beware of the traffic jam to go to la that are basically non stop day and night. We thought we would take the train rail but been advised not to do so as it might get dangerous. We finally took our car to get to la and avoid the highways. No traffic jam on normal road, it took us half an hour to Hollywood boulevard. Avoid the highways at all cost.Th.
all reviews » Downey is between downtown LA and Anaheim, so it was convenient for us getting around to where we want to go. Not only the hotel itself; the whole neighborhood is quiet and clean. The room is huge and comfortable. location great for our needs (Downey Regional Hospital) liked the convenience of desk for my computer and couch for reading--bed very comfortable-We use Days Inn whenever we travel - safety is also key feature. The room was amazing couch two chairs. The king bed had a delux mattress. In room coffee. More than we thought foe the price. Rooms were really pretty and modern. Beds are super comfy and house keeping did a great job while my 6 night stay.. I loved everything about the hotel. The room has a relaxing feeling. I would definitely come back and stay. I liked the design of the bed , the flat screen tv and the shower . everything was nice and clean!. Newly remodeled rooms, clean, and relaxing color palette. Good coffee in lobby buffet. Very quiet , very clean, spacious room, near to mall,restaurants. I enjoy the comfortable bed. I enjoyed the coots of the room. The room is really comfortable, it make me feel likes home. The cleanliness, the room was big and very comfortable. Family suite was clean large and value for money. Walking distance to food and shopping. Rooms look very modern and updated. Very clean and in a decent area. Very clean! No complaints. Nice place. Location. Modern room and bathroom. Near the Starbucks (just around the corner, easy walking distance perfect after a weak breakfast). It was close to location I was training at. It looks clean. However the wifi wasn t actually working inside the room. We needed to sit outside of the room to be able to use. The staff didn t really care much about that and told us that it was because we were using Ipads, although we have been using Ipads on our whole trip and never had an issue with wifi. You can get free wifi at Starbucks or in the food court of the mall. Would be good if there's variety to the breakfast. The spread was the same throughout the entire week we were there!. light breakfast was perfect and I like the idea of packaged oatmeal, only problem no place to boil the water or container large enough to hold boil over, could take to room and put in micro but again no container large enough. Breakfast needs more variety. I couldn't watch movies on pay per view!. I have no complains. You can hear people walking back and forth out side. That I didn't have more time. Breakfast was not fresh. Traffic noise. They wanted to charge me a different amount than what I was quoted. Nothing. Breakfast was weak, not much space for more than 3 people and you have to eat standing near the reception. Wifi was crap, noisy early in the evening and morning traffic noise. When I was sleeping I woke up something was bitting me !!!! Is was bedbug !!!!. Very noisy at night because the street cleaning machine made a sound like a starting jet-plane for about 45 minutes. Horrible. Also the regular street noise was way too loud. The acoustic insulation is definitely not sufficient.
