Staff was great, waterpark was really fun, but the chlorine levels are really toxic. I got a migraine from the fumes and the kids all had runny noses and red eyes- looked sickly after one day. Which is a shame be ause it's super fun! We opted to skip second day and go to cosi. The kids made this choice because of the chlorine which says a lot- kids love water especially after being cooped up all winter. Story time and complimentary milk and cookies were a great touch. Kids loved the arcade, bre.
all reviews » The water park was awesome and our son loved it. The ease of leaving a day early for family issues. Also liked that they had things planned for the children throughout the day. I love it all, Front desk clerk Logan and Styler was so Helpful making the whole process And the experience much easier. Staff was very friendly. Waterpark was ok. The staff was great. I like the fact that it has a restaurant, gift shop, game room, & water park all on the facility. I like the options of different rooms. I suppose the accomodations were good. We wern't aware that guests had to pay to enter the waterpark and that the hours were tailored down to just the weekends. Front desk staff was VERY nice and accomodating. Rooms and facilities were clean. Waterpark was nice. That a waterpark was located inside the hotel. it was clean and beds were comfortable. The water park portion. Our waiter in the grille dinning room was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the western decor. The Water Park was great and the kids loved it!. Staff inside waterpark very pleasant. The restraunt was good. Water Park was nice. Location was OK,. the atmosphere. Nothing. Way too much chlorine- toxic!. The bed was not that comfortable and the remote for our tv could not be used to turn tv up or down. That the water passes was not included in price like other hotels. Room service was kind of rude. We didn't like the restrauant the price was to costly for the food offered. A buffet style would be better for families with children. We didn't know we had to pay extra for waterpark. Thought it was gonna be bigger. Rooms need to be updated. Needs to be cleaner & more towels. We were promised a wakeup call at 06:00 on tuesday 10/8/13 and we didn't get it. The morning staff called 40 minutes late with an apology. Disorganization for slide lines in waterpark. Rooms a bit outdated - but clean. Lifeguards didn't seem to care or watch too carefully. The reservation did not include the waterpark and I had to pay extra for the passes. Also the water park was over crowded and there was not enough floats for the water slides. long waits at the elevator and too long to check in. We were there for a basketball tournament. We arrived an hour before we needed to leave for the game and waited in line and still did not get to check in. We had to come back and check in at 11 pm. the rooms were older and linens were cheap. I didnt like that I paid 115 for 2 double beds for 1 nite & and had to pay an extra 100 for the water park cause my water park tickets werent included with my room. That was terrible!!! For the price I paid for 1 day at the park I could have spent that for the weekend at Hyatt or Hilton. We stayed at this resort because of the 5 star online, but we were disappointed. Our room had a dirty sheets on bed, the bathroom floor and the room carpet was dirty, the staff at the desk was very unfriendly and the room door did not have a secure knob and lock, very loose. The staff of the hotel's front desk was not friendly. I was passed between the front desk and gift shop 6 times before purchasing passes to the water park. Each time I was given different hours and rates. The shower would not drain and the sink was leaking in the hotel room. When I advised the front desk at check out, I was not even offered a simple "I'm sorry.". Difficult time getting my water passes, the room had no small coffee pot and no hair dryer. The staff in the cafe on both occasions were in no hurry to wait on guests and upon check out i left items on counter because was never acknowledged for service. no clean towels were available either day we were there. none of the inner tubes were inflated even early in the morning. the girls that were in gift shop argued about who was going to make us coffee when we tried to order in the morning. Poor customer service. Rooms were VERY old and poorly rentovated. Heat/air was unstabled Shower water was either too hot or too cold Elevator dropped several floors and emergency botton did not work. No inspection posted on elevators. Restuarant/bar was unexceptable. Bar tender had NO training. Menu was unstocked. Internet was really bad, facilities were very worn and old. the staff was not friendly. very outdated. Food was terrible. The entire place is dirty! Heater in our room did not work called front desk no answer called from cell phone got an answer said they were sending maintenance up waited almost 2 hours still no one. Heater never got fixed nor did we get another room. Horrible experience..
