It was an OK distance to the ballpark and the area was safe enough to walk back after a night game. The pool was nice. It was very close to a waffle house for breakfast, as the hotel breakfast was pretty pricey. The location was perfect for our one night stay to take in the festivities of Zinzinnati Oktoberfest. Staff at check-in were friendly and professional. Rooms were comfortable, but not large. Great shower!.

Thank you for a great experience. When we came in, the man who checked us in was very helpful. He was very upbeat, helped with direction and meal selections in the area. Made us feel glad we were there. Location. Good size room. The gentleman that delivered our luggage was very nice and helpful when we asked for directions. The location was great. Right across from the convention center I needed to be at and close to restauratns and pharmacies. Everything was lovely, the staff was great, the bed comfy, bathroom clean, and no evidence of bedbugs. Vinny at the front desk was very helpful when I checked in and suggested a GREAT place to eat. Bed was very comfortable and linens very nice. Location was great. T.V. was good. We were updated to a Junior Suite which gave us more space. The room was clean. Though very crowded throughout our stay, the pool was fantastic!. it was close to the convention center. Proximity to the convention center. The only thing I liked about the place is that it was in walking distance of our destination. Location of the hotel was convenient to downtown and attractions (e.g., zoo). Nothing. the only think i like is a quick check out and check in. Proximity to Duke Energy Convention Center. Nothing. The check in lines were rather long and when I got in line there were 4 people checking folks in, so I figured they were working hard at getting people checked in, but then the first two clerks that finished walked off and there were only two clerks and still a fairly long line. The breakfast, which didn't come with the room was rather expensive, so we didn't eat at the hotel. Valet parking fee was $25.00 and the check-in process was under-staffed. We found the room to be very clean but very small. We wanted ice, but the ice maker on the 10th, 11th and 12th floor did not work. The next morning I wanted to use the in room coffee maker. It would not work. The room was very overpriced. I would have been better paying the $30.00 extra and staying across the street at the Hilton. Tub in bathroom had a disgusting worn spot on the bottom. Pillows were quite small and not very comfortable. Did not get a good nights sleep. Construction was ongoing so it was noisy during the day and also at night. I found a few bugs in my room, both alive and dead. Cleanliness needs to be improved upon. I saw some uncleanliness in area of the bedroom at floor level. There was something that looked like pop spilled on the bed skirt, carpet needed to be swept in the corners and under furniture. But nothing too serious. Two lamps didn't work. Only one chair (two would be nice). Bathrooms a bit tight. Walls, rug, other furnishings a bit shabby. Rooms and bathrooms were small and somewhat outdated. We were unable to check into our room prior to the event we were attending at 5:00 pm July 20, 2013. We were told to put our luggage in a holdover room. Upon our return from said event, our luggage was not in the same location. We had to ask multiple employees before our bags were located. We were unable to check into our rooms until nearly midnight. For the aforementioned inconveniences, this hotel was way overpriced!. Needs a lobby update. No choice of parking except for valet and no prior warning. Last year was able to utilize outside parking at the hotel and that wasn't available. Also, we were not allowed to access the convention center via the skywalk so we had to brave the cold and snow, and the skywalk access was the major reason we chose this hotel. Little bit of a musty, old smell. The condensation on the windows made the carpet wet. With no vent in the bathroom, made the room very humid. visibly old hotel. escalator creaking. No local TV in room, only cable. So I couldn't tune in to local stations, and could not watch the Reds play ball in TV. This was a real disappointment! Why is this the case???. Internet poor. Room was too small and the furniture was antiquated. Fairness of price. This hotel is expensive for what you get. I'd also like to see improved dishwashing in the kitchen. I received an orange juice at breakfast with lipstick on the glass. To be fair, the waitress apologised and handled that matter well. Room was very small for $129.00. Windows in the room were fogged inside the glass so we couldn`t enjoy the view.Although we didn`t see any bugs in the room,as we were leaving the elevator doors opened and a few roaches crawed out from the elevator doors.That may have been a deal breaker for us on a return trip. We arrived at 1:00 A.M. From Chicago, after being on the road for 5 or so hours we were told we had to park down the street and around the corner because the parking lot was full. What the hell. I'm a guess. I travel a lot. This has never happened. I don't think we will be staying there again. The staff are nor the friendliest in the world. On a weekend there are not enough sunbeds for the amount of people there. There was a problem throughout the hotel with the hot water. I inquired as to why, and the staff stated it was there first big weekend of the travel season, and the equipment could not handle the volume of people. my total charge was graciously reduced in half without any hesitation! I plan to stay here on a return trip in May 2013,. The lack of valet parking after driving over two hours to.reach the hotel. Being told we had to.cross three lanes of a busy street to park in a public garage seemed amateurish. The rooms were small and did not have a microwave or small fridge. The decor and amenities are in desperate need of a renovation. for A 189.00 plus! size of room, no microwave, no refrigerator, and being out dated. (south tower, 5th ave.). They need more parking!. it was just out-dated, at least our room in the South Tower was - even the TV was old, non- HD. Also - they had porn?! you turn the TV on, flick up one channel, and there it was - that was ridiculous. No free wifi in rooms. Had to park in a public garage a block away and it was $8 a night. Lots of construction around the hotel. It took over 30 minutes to check in, we waited another 15 for the elevator to only walk into our room that hadn't been cleaned. When we called the front desk we kept getting transferred and after about 10 minutes of that we finally got to speak to someone. We waited another 20 minutes in the hallway for our new room key. The large restaraunt that is all glass that looks out over cincinnati is actually on the first floor not the top level. Very disappointed for the amount of money we spent. Very dirty bathroom! Carpet had stains on all over. Very loud and rude people throughout the hotel. Uncomfortable pillows, the air would kick on every 5 minutes, but not blow any cold air. This hotel was not worth the money for the small room we had! Will stay somewhere else before ever staying here again. Miscellaneous Fees - parking, inyernet, etc were very high. Outside noise easily penetrated room, even on the 10th floor. Through the wall heating and cooling system excessively loud. Starsky & Hutch could be met in the corridors at any time. Hotel is old and dated. Bathroom faucet leaked, tiles cracked, and caulk missing from the bath area. Tv is dated and room was small. Beds were squeaky and very uncomfortable. Every time one of us turned over you heard the bed squeak. Tub was not draining properly. Room was terribly hot and the air would not cool it down. Too expensive. Very dirty...both the lobby and our guest room. Entire location needs facelift Not enough staff in restaurant or lounge. No parking for guest. Rooms out dated. Small pillows. While taking a shower the tub wouldn't drain properly, so the tub would fill with water. Construction right outside window. Way over priced. Ice machine was broken on just about every floor. Everything ! The rooms were small and not clean. The chair was unfit to sit on. We found a hair clip in the room and hair in the sink. The sheets had been patched. The hotel badly needs updated, the carpets in the room were very stained,we would not even sit in chair it was so bad,bath tub had several chips, leaky faucets,nice 1985 21 inch T.V., there was a fight in the middle of the night outside my room,this place is a $39.95 room at best, lack of rooms in downtown cincy is the only reason you would stay, I read the reviews & thought it can't be that bad. It is!!. The internent service must be free for the resident ,it doesnt offer any free meals. Also the restaurent has limited choices of food. the staff was friendly while i was staying at the hotel but when I leave i came back to check the mailbox , waiting to receive a credit card from overseas. I FEEL THAT I AM UNWELCOME AND THE STAFF SAY "YOU HAVE TWO MORE TIME ONLY TO COME AND CHEACK WITH US THE MAIL BOX"" I felt like i am asking for money near a traffic light with a sign says "please for give me for checking out". Staff attitude No Safe in the room WiFi speed low Restaurants bad service Poor breakfast buffet. Dirty rooms, dirty hallways, poor maintenance (leaky sink, no water pressure in shower), understaffed, extremely noisy. Also, the hotel's website is incapable of receiving feedback. Requested rooms together that didnt happen,in fact we were put in opposite sides of the building.i had to travel over a couple of blocks for parkingThe room wasnt very clean., Check for that cause I am a director of housekeeping. There were charges on my debit card know nothing about. Staff not very friendly.i will never stay there again.i will spread the word on my experience there.
