We loved the location and proximity to the beach. The pool was comfortably warm for those of us who don't care for swimming in cold water. Our view from the room was beautiful. Overall, the room was nice enough and updated with granite counter tops. It was not fancy but just what we expected for the cost.
I am very glad with the girl who greeted us at the front desk. She was extremely nice and understanding. She solved with pleasure my own confusion. In the Club Bamboo South and in the Lazy Turtle Hotel the people who work in the reception are wonderful and real angels!. all reviews »

onto the beach. Clean room with a large bed, flat screen, and
kitchenette. Friendly, helpful staff.
Fantastic location, well equiped, friendly, clean and well run. Great

the hotel and staff was absolutely amazing. there was everything in the room you needed. pots, pans silverware, glasses and more. beds were super comfy.
Excellent beachfront location and with the free trolly bus passing right outside the hotel the whole island is accessible and waiting to be explored.
I liked the décor in the room we stayed in, very beachie. The bed was very comfy too. Quiet at night, but that might be b/c we were in off season.
The efficiency kitchen was terrific, balcony private and spacious. Elevator was really appriciated. Private parking section was good.
We had a sea view and it was wonderful. The room was clean and tidy and the staff were excellent. Will use again at Christmas.

Due to the fact we had to pay $35.00 for cleaning, I expect the place to be sparkling. I found a pubic hair in the bathroom sink and one on the bottom of the bathtub before using it. ewww gross.
Visitor parking was limited. Beach needed lounges on the beach so you did not have to drag them out. Bathroom needed to be alittle bigger.

My hubby said bed was too soft but it felt fine to me.

no ice machine, office closed at 5:00,no towels,second night no soap, office was closed when we realized it, air conditioner very noisey.
The a/c in the room barely functioned, kept it on 60 the entire weekend and it never cooled off. The price was seriously too high!.
Staff very poor , S. pool dirty , nobody clean the room for three days,

Resort has a real scam going here. They show you a couple of photos of
the place, but that is not where you are staying. It is located a half a
block away, on the other side of the road l Facing another hotel, but
they have the nerve to charge waterfront rates. Saying you room has no
view doesn't mean to us that it's up the highway on the other
side. I could go on, but why bother. Lesson learned the hard way.
