City Center Inn - Photos
What people say
Just outside of Yellowstone in Bozeman, the City Center Inn is a real find. Large rooms, indoor pool, fast internet. The facilities are clean and the staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. The included breakfast is served in the attached restaurant and included choice of bacon and eggs, pancakes or oatmeal. Overall, it was real value for the money. And it has an elevator!.
The room was spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub was wonderful. The Angus Steak house had excellent food for decent prices. We were able to park right in front of our room. Even though we were on the first floor, we didn't hear anybody else at all, neither above or below us.all reviews »
I stayed in this location 18 years ago. Pleased to say it is well cared for and still has a quality family run feel. Matt was very courteous on late check in, and AM checkout guy was friendly. Thumbs up! Hope to see you all sooner than 18 years down the road.
Good value. Great location, right in the heart of town and Main Street. Most of the other hotels in Bozeman are located near the interstate and this one offers a great location to those without a car and want to walk around town.
I liked that breakfast was included in the cost of the room. It was the perfect amount of food. I liked the location, the beds were very comfy and rooms were a decent size. Overall good experience and would go again.
The room was clean and spacious enough to be comfortable. We did not have an opportunity to enjoy the pool. The fountain and benches in the back were a nice relaxing feature.
The pool was very relaxing and the beds/pillows were the best I've had for an out of town stay. The restaurant had friendly service and good food as well.
Location was great! Within walking distance of downtown Bozeman and it was just a block from our relatives. Nice quiet room - perfect!.
Friendly staff and willing to help.
NIce, spacious rooms.
Good location to shopping and main street restaurants and University.
The room was spacious, and the beds comfortable. Everything was timely and clean. The staff was helpful, and friendly.
The hotel is located in the city center. The room is big and clean. Bed is soft and I like this kind of bed.
Close to restaurants, shopping, and downtown; hot breakfast; large windows;.
Awesome Breakfast. Not the usual cereals and bread. Fairly large rooms.
Good location and everything met my not-very-high expectations.
Good location close to downtown. Clean and spacious room.
Reasonable rates Nice accommodation.
Proximity to airport.
Rooms were clean, comfortable enough and pool was good.
Staff and accomodations were very good.

If you need somewhere for a night or couple nights stay max.then this hotel is fine. Our room was very basic but was clean and a good size with ample room. Is an ideal location as only a short walk from the main street where all the bars & restaraunts are. Has ample free parking on site also.
We really liked the free breakfast and the Angus bar and restaurant. We
drank and ate well for a very reasonable price. The location was also
good we were able to walk downtown and with a short drive we could visit
our son at msu.
Nonetheless it took long time for us to wait because of computer
problem at hotel, finally he took care of us. Hotel is great for the
price. I liked the hotel and Bozeman, it is close to yellowstone
national park. Thanks,.
Fastest internet out of the 5 hotels I have stayed in in town and the cost of the stay was a great price. They had tea and a great tasting coffee in the room. Breakfast was included, although there were no vegan choices.
Location was very good. Easy access to MSU and walking distance to downtown. Felt safe.
Staff was nice/friendly.
On-site restaurant provided a hot tasty breakfast.
Pool important, steps entering pool broken, dangerous?
Angus Restaurant delicious
For dinner and breakfast
Nice water features.
Great location in the downtown walking zone.
Breakfast was different than normal.
Location to events I was attending.
check in was quick and easy.
Location.
Area of town was ok.
Nada.
I would have preferred high definition TV.
Only thing I could possibly say needed improvement was the room TV. Slight tech upgrade would be nice, not necessary though. :).
No free shuttle from the airport. A cab for 2 was about $40.
Room service seemed to have a hard time remembering to leave nec. items each day. Some days there was no new coffee, another day plenty (extra coffee), no cups.
The outlets were too scarce and some of them would not hold what we were trying to plug in. There was no refrigerator.
nothing.
I stayed here for 2 days and hardly I could get the access to the room WIFI service and no one in this hotel can tell me how to configure my device to get Internet service.
Restaurant is dark and dingy instead of bright and airy.
On second stay at this place, there was no bath/toilet soaps provided. When inquired, they just plainly said they ran out of it with no alternates nor apologies. This was my first experience in an accommodation that did not provide soaps.
Free breakfast voucher was nice, but the service was slow, slow, slow.
Room came with "breakfast included in price" by voucher in inn
restaurant. First breakfast waited half hour for waitress to take order
then over half hour for meal. Second day first in line but waitress took
party of 8 and others first then waited half hour - gave up and left to
eat at Perkins mile away - didn't even attempt breakfast on third or
fourth days.
had to ask 3 times for a crib
older furnishings.
A/C and heating were out of order.
parking lot.
front desk staff not trained.
Not the most exciting of hotels. I wouldnt bother using the restaraunt here as food was awful and is pretty dingey inside. Your better off to walk the 5/10 mins to the main street and eat down there, no matter how hungry you are! The male receptionist who was there when we checked out wasnt the most enthusiastic or helpful of people either.
The rooms really need updating. It was more worth $59/night than the
$89/we paid. The beds are nothing to write home about. Maybe if they
were better, even without updating, I could warrant paying more. They
also need to offer wireless internet in the rooms.
No fridge and no microwave in the room even though there is plenty of room for it.
Booked a suite and expected a bedroom separate from the sitting area but was advised that those are Family and Priority rooms. Their suites are a slightly larger queen room and have a sofa.
Bathroom door stuck--very, very hard to open. WiFi not available in the suite or standard rooms. (An internet cable is provided for access. You have to use the desk as the cable is not very long.) Room keys had to be reprogrammed multiple times as they stopped working. Only one ice machine.
Tired appearance
Plastic plants
Just a little decorating of the common areas would make a huge difference.
a bit lax at front desk and only marginally clean rooms.
First night had no hot water. Second night had no soap and no TV.
I will leave that in my review.
The breakfast could best be described as adequate. We both had the impression that everything possible was being done to minimize their costs from the toilet paper to keeping the outside doors open for cooling purposes. We were not impressed.
Comfort: beds were horrible. Mattress was so soft that you were rolling towards each other in to the center of the bed and cannot sleep. Breakfast was OK but you have to go to the restaurant, order it and wait 15-20 min. But stuff was good, the hotel and the room were clean.
I was up set A/C wasn't working, no handle on toilet and the frig didn't work , I know it's doing up greats but it needs help . Ill give it another at another time but was sad about this my bf and wanted time alone but kept coming a cross issues. Thank you book it your great.....
First room was totally unacceptable. Second room would have been nice if
it was clean. Maid woke us up in the morning! Restaurant was horrible.we
were served frozen bread after meal was served..shrimp was so overcooked
we couldn't eat it. Steak was not good, they were out food & the
cook & waitress argued in front of us!.
The mattresses were old and out of shape and no air conditioning for 3 days. Dated hotel that needs some TLC.
