I am so impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel!! The continental breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from and all made fresh! Bobbi does a fantastic job of catering to everyone's needs in the breakfast room and does so with great attitude!! The front desk staff went the extra mile to get us directions to various places downtown. This hotel gets a 10 from us!!. When we booked the hotel room, we stated that our elderly mother was with us and we wanted a room close to the door without any steps. They gave us a room on the first floor with a great shower that could be used by our mother. It was a clean room, staff was great. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

We will go back!! We spent the day at the mall of america and then easy it get to the hotel from there. Overall the hotel was excellent!!. I stayed at the Fairfield Inn for after-care after surgery. I was able to check in early and was given a room away from the lobby and the hustle and bustle of check-in. I was treated very politely and wasn't bothered or made to feel out of place even though I had come directly from my surgical appt. The staff was so friendly. The pillow top mattresses were amazing. I haven't slept that good in years. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast options were amazing! So close to the mall of America and light rail. Everything! I had bad cold and they brought extra kleenex to the room. Also we needed to order out food and they brought us menus of local places for us to choose from, we didn't even have to go down to the desk. I really love that Fairfield is so clean. The staff couldn't be friendlier! The breakfast has a fabulous selection! The shower water pressure was awesome as well!. It was very good. The pool was excellent and was always kept clean in that area. Also the breakfast was amazing. Honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. Felt welcome. Breakfast selections great and with a wide selection to choose from. Very happy with my stayt. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a long,black hair on the white bed spread.Another on the pillow.And two more on the floor in the bathroom. Maybe the maids should wear hairnets. Bathroom could use some updating but I'm not fussy if it all works and is clean!. Nothing I did not like. Bathroom felt a little cramped. Not a lot of room to get dressed for the day. Nothing. No refrigerator or microwave in room. No microwave or frig in room and the breakfast area filled up fast so could have been larger. Breakfast area was very crowded and busy. The room was OK but seemed a little small for the two queen setup. The bath was even a little smaller than many in this price range. Outside noise and this doesn't count being in the airport glide path. sink not outside the bathroom. Breakfast was VERY busy.. not enough seating. However, staff compensated VERY well for the brkfst rush !. Found a roach in bathroom. When I told the staff she didn't really say anything other than that is not good. Hotel was at capacity so there was never any place to sit for breakfast. Had to stand or take food to room. It is a little noisy. Right on the busy road. Ice machine not on each floor. For awhile one was not running. Fridge in room. Somewhat expensive on weekends. beds could be softer. The only one is about the smells of hotel towels it's poor. Have a bigger pool or activities to fo at night. First guy on phone was very unfriendly but when I called back Tracy was friendly and helpful and was helpful to my daughter when she checked in. I didn't like that I paid $159.00 a night and when we were in the lobby I overheard the clerk telling someone wanting to stay that the charge was $109.00. He then said some people had paid $149.00 for the night. Small restroom, and tub stains. I just felt the Queen size beds were more like full size beds. Pillows too bouncy Hot, stuffy room. Had to turn heat off when it was 35 degrees outside. Due to the conditions mentioned above, we did not get a good nites sleep. Breakfast was not good...eggs overdone, coffee cheap, bacon way too salty.
