The staff was very accommodating, helpful with information we needed and I enjoyed visiting with them. Absolutely excellent location, central to everything we wanted to access. Beautiful island, beautiful location, lovely staff, good value on the price and very nice breakfast nook. Enjoyed every day of the 7 days we spent there. I would return in a heartbeat - staying there was key to the success of our vacation.
all reviews » It just has a nice atmosphere and the lady at the desk was so hospitable and nice. The house keeper was very efficient, friendly and helpful :) I will make this place my mainstay when I come visit. It was a nice plain hotel room. Simple and clean. It was quiet, had a lawn to walk our dog and the staff was chatty and friendly. Overall a just what I wanted and expected. Located close to downtown; affordable; very clean; nice staff. This is not a luxury motel, but it has all the basic needs and we will stay here again. It was perfectly acceptable, nothing extraordinary, but very comfortable, the front desk experience was pleasant, felt very welcomed. Convenient location -- easy to get to and from the Seattle ferry. Good convenient breakfast. Friendly staff. Good blankets. An older motel, but well-maintained, very clean, pleasant staff. Generous breakfast. The place was clean and in good order. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Location, walk to resturants and shopping, short ferry ride to Seattle. nice basket of toiletries, friendly desk clerk, adequate breakfast. The staff person was very courteous and friendly. Free Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. I liked the feather pillows. I liked the convenience of having a grocery store close by. I liked the ease of Internet access. I liked the small basket of toiletries. I wish the price more affordable. The pool was closed for repair when we went. Not really a big deal but it would have been nice for it to be open. Not knowing the TV stations. Many were blocked out, making it hard to find what to watch. We visited July 3-5, and the place was sold out and quite crowded. This was most noticeable at breakfast, where items ran out and we waited for refills. bathroom shower stall shows a lot of wear. It's a bit typical of the American motel breakfast with everything packaged and no recycling. Toilet and bathroom sink were not clean. The room had dim lighting and it was difficult to read. The room was not cleaned one day and there were no fresh towels or coffee. The room was not ready until after 5:00 on check-in day and the check-in time was posted for 3:00pm. Room was noisy, you could see lite around the door after you closed it. Stains on the carpet, bathroom was terrible. Should have been a $29 room instead of $109.
