Loved being able to walk across the parking lot/ street and get to the stadium. Super handy that there was a gas station nearby and within easy walking distance to Walgreens and Walmart. The staff was super kind to us at check in, allowing us to get into our room quickly and even offered us milk for the kids. :) There was a question regarding payment, but since it was 1 am and we had the kids they waited until the next day to have that cleared up. Such kind people. :).
all reviews » Pool was accessible past the time it closed if you had a special code to go in during your stay. The staff/cleaning ladies were nice, and easy to approach at if you needed any clean towels n supplies during our stay of 5 days. The air conditioner was real cold all the time and the beds were very comfortable. My father is handicapped and the attention they gave him.Thank You!!. My son got to see Cowboys Stadium on the way to San Antonio. location around other businesses and near freeways. Rooms were very clean. Staff was super friendly. Comfort, Location, (rangers ballpark). Price for size of room!. everything was good!. Friendly staff. The breakfast. Everything. The location was excellent (across the street from Cowboy Stadium, Walmart, & a mile from Ball Park in Arlington.) Beds were actually comfortable. Plenty of dining options within 1-3 mile radius. Rooms were very clean, nice view of the stadium, evening staff was friendly, lots of food options around the hotel. Nice breakfast...waffles, apple and orange juice, coffee, cereal, oatmeal. How close it was to the ATT stadium Manager gave me credit for a later visit, but I have yet to receive it via email as he promised. The location is great for a Cowboys Stadium event. Can't beat it, especially for the price. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. The rooms where nice, and the view was amazing I looked out our balcony window and was looking at The Dallas Cowboy Stadium. The staff was kind. They changed me to a nonsmoking room in the middle of the night when I got ill from the holdover smoke. I liked that after a long day in the hot sun that the room was very cool! The A/C was great!. the location is PRIME. Great location. I made a reservation for 5 people include one baby. No crib no have space for the people small bed and no hsve other room in that time .I try to.move but all hotel at sold out I need to stay. No return again bad decision. very close walk to Cowboys Stadium. Nice to avoid the traffic jam after event. It served it's purpose keeping us out of traffic jam. The elevator, breakfast, (limited selection, poor quality). Trolley trip to rangers game was a bust. Never got to ride on the trolley!. Nothing. I did not like the fact that I was charged $25.00 to park. I was not told about this up front when I made arrangements to stay here either. Others in the Lobby were complaining about the same thing. If you are going to charge a parking fee for events you need to let the people know. This would have made a difference in where I stayed. paying for parking. Older facility in need of upgrades. You pay for location not room/facility. Wi-Fi was little to none if you could even pick it up. Trolley to Ball Park came around once instead of the two scheduled times front desk had sited & said verbally. Had to walk the 1.1 miles. Didn't have a computer, printer or fax available. Morning clerk was talking too loud at the desk and we could hear in our room. The surprises to the reservations like parking due to game day, and unable to check in even if room was available , wanted to check in early. It smells like a nursing home. When we finally figured out the heater, it smelled like weed being pumped into the room. The receptionist said, "hold on a minute" when we arrived and let us stand there by ourselves for 5 minutes while she was looking at something on the internet. It's old. It just feels dingy. Okay for two 30-year-old guys going to a ball game, but that's about it. On the website it said we could get a rollout bed for no charge. Checked in at 1:30 and at that time I asked for the pullout and she told me their was no room for one, and when I got to the room there was plenty of room so later that night I asked for one again and then they tried to charge me for one and then 10 min later called the room and said they were going yo bring one free of charge but beverages showed up. Bad front desk service. The hotel staff tells me that the hotel is a no-smoking facility, but my original second floor room was deeply polluted with smoke. When I became ill, the staff changed me to a room with a nonsmoking icon. I had requested that with my reservation, though, and was placed in a smoky room. Breakfast is free, also, but there is nothing but carbohydrate available...no protein at all. It is cheap, but it is not a good value, except for location, which is central to the stadium. Did not like that there was not an iron and ironing board readily available, and then when we got the iron it leaked and the ironing board was too small. There were not enough sockets in the room AT ALL. The breakfast area was TINY. No laundry room available:( Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again. it was a bit outdated. could be a bit renevated. the pool wasn't even full of water, also the wifi did not work. Very noisy place. I did NOT like paying for a parking pass We already were staying there. We should NOT have to pay for parking. They lost my reservation and it took forever to check in, and they didn't seem to care. The hotel was built in early 70s and hasn't been updated since. They charge too much for what they offer AND you still have to pay 20 dollars just to park in their tiny parking lot because it's close to Cowboys Stadium. that my friend went down to get a key for his room and they didnt question him at all, just gave him a key. It does not match the picture on the web site. It was dirty. The beds were hard. We had trouble finding the front door to check in. The windows in our room had never been cleaned, there was a used q-tip stuck to thee wall, we lost hot water, and didn't have heat for 24hrs. No working air conditioning first day and nite. Management staff seemed uncaring first day & said thermostat did not have any effect upon system. Nite staff was excellant and tried to resolve 2nd complaint. A/C worked for a while before quitting again. Third complaint resolved issue. Surprise parking fee. 30 dollars per car. I met my son for usa soccer game. For the extra 60 bucks we could have stayed at a nicer place. They had vehicle towed and the vehicle was owned by a guest that was registered with the days inn. staff was not helpful. Rooms are very outdated and hotel is very old needs remodeling and updated. I did not like paying for parking at a hotel I was staying at. I did not like the extra 100$ deposit that I knew nothing about. Website needs to make these hidden fees more clear and show on the website. $30 parking fee on top of room fee.one family wasn't aware of parking fee and were towed by hotel staff. Cost him $320 to retrieve his vehicle and belongings. dining area very cramped, teenagers out of control, running down hall at 2:30am, screaming and calling my room, scared my children, did not rest well, would not stay there again or recommend. Clerk arguing with her kids on the phone during breakfast. Only 1 person up front . management not allowing government rates. Old facility, not well kept or even clean for that matter. Had a smell about the whole place. The neighborhood had me wondering if my vehicle would still be there in the morning. I have stayed in some dives over the years and this one is in the top 10. It was the most expensive dive I have ever stayed in though @ $122.00. Turns out we could have stayed in a nice hotel for about $40.00 more. I had to sleep on the floor because they didn't have the right room for me and family .when I told them abaut it they didn't do anything abaut it . Rude Staff Dirty Room Overpriced (3 x the weekday rate) Charged for Parking in the hotel Lot. The advertising of the rooms I booked was not what the rooms were. So I cancel the other nights. Bugs in my bed. I drew back the covers and they were on the pillow smiling at me. I had to find another hotel at 1am.
