  There was a lot to like about this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the building/rooms are well-designed. The rooms were about the same size as other Uruguayan hotels (I.E. small) but the lay- out was efficient and easy to get around. We loved the fact that they provided a bathroom space heater that allowed us to have warm towels. It ... what people say » is close to the ocean; we opened the window at night and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Another plus is that it is walking distance to everyth - It was an overall positive experience. It was low season in La Paloma, but the hotel seemed to have a brisk business. The staff was very attentive, room clean, bright and cheery, and the location is outstanding.
