All the receptionists know English and they are welcoming and helpfull. Rooms are clean and wifi access is perfect from every part of the hotel. Breakfast is very good with lots of sorts. There is also a restaurant in the basement for lunch and dinner. Safe private free car park. Cheap hotel. We really like our stay at Sonata hotel. The price, location, rooms, staff, breakfast - everything is just perfect. And it's close to city center, it takes around 20 minutes to reach it by bus. Highly recommend to people who would like to get all the best at very reasonable price.

Friendly staff and great buffet style breakfast. Housekeeping is well - maintained and you don't have to ask for anything, or if you do it will be taken care of right a way. We stayed in this hotel for a day this may. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was tasty and the price was low. They were very friendly and thoughtful. We were leaving before breakfast hour and they offered us lunch boxes for our trip. the hotel is nice and modern ...I was in the suite...AC, flat tv, nice bar, a small living room to received my friends.... is nice and modern , the personal and all staff are so friendly , and I pass a nice vacation in Lviv... Everything that I liked was cancelled by a terriful holiday that was celebrated right on the first floor. 6 kms from centre but easy to go by taxi for 50 UAH (around 4 euro). If you did not speak the language we got ripped off by taxis,because we were tourists,and it rained all the time we were there,and the hotel was situated next to a block of flats which were rather run down. We didn't have slippers in the bathroom though we were proposed to. This hotel is situated quite far from the city center, it takes about 20 minutes to get there by bus and the bus stops are not always easy to find in Lviv, but after all the hotels in center are more expensive, so that's quite fair. They were helpful in reserving taxi service but would like to see at least one way shuttle service free at charge from the airport. is a little far from the center, but I think is ok. is a little far from the center. Slippery stairs in front of the hotel (icy in winter). Restaurant so hot in evening, did not want to eat. Breakfast changed recently and very basic. Noise from maintenance man every day working in other rooms. Noise from ongoing building work to building attached. Noise every day! Unlikely to use again :(. Location, bus 47A, 46, 37 to be used. In the shower room, you are suggested to change the curtain with glass. the beds are narrow. breakfast - too short list of propositions. Location and twinbed is two beds together, thats why it isn't comfortable. The hotel building is located next to railway, so there is a huge noise when trains pass. Autoalarm each night on parking. On the second day the restaurant and all the first floor was occupied by a group of people. They were playing very loud owful music and celebrating some holiday. All the other guests had to hide in their rooms to not hear all this horror. We tried to have a dinner in the restaurant, but it was hardly possible in all this noise. However, in the room it was heard too and we had to wait till late night, when they finished dancing.
