  This hotel is very well managed. Very good service and staff, excellent breakfast, very clean. Especially clean comparing to all those rental "euro"-apartments. You will find there also restaurant with reasonable prices comparing to many restaurants in center. This hotel is far away from the major attractions of Kiev and fits well to travelers wit... what people say » h own cars. A lot of free parking space (pretty safe).   The place was very fortunate, a few steps from Metro (both to the Center and to my business). The room was comfortable. - Surprisingly good and willing to help staff for a soviet-legacy hotel. Underground station in a minute of walking.

  I travel for business world wide. I have made many trips to Russia and cis countries. Its been several years (2008) since my last stay in Kiev. At that time there were several good hotels and then a few great ones. The great (ones 1-2) are very expensive and value to dollar for business is marginal. It has been completely remodeled and - Wery luxury and great service! Excellent restaurant (try a fish). English spoken personal, very friendly. I ask for reservation of taxi for an airport (in the check out) mantionet Sky Taxy and they preper everything. It cost 120 grivnas (very cheap)! When I fly on the airport and findou taxydriver by myself it cost 300 grivnas! Very friendly personal (not really smiling but very unhasitating. Excellent room cleaning service.   I am a travel agent and in the past 10 years I had the chance to travel all around, and I can say that VS Apartments services are getting very close to what I found in a 5 star hotel. Vladimir, our guest, was very prompt, from the time of booking, during our stay with good restaurants/places to visit recommendations, till our back home flight. He ... what people say » gave us his cell number and every time we wanted something he was more than happy to assist. The place was indeed very clean, in a new building, a nic - We were highly satisfied with these apartments. As many others have mentioned before, rooms are fine (clean, spacious, with new furniture, massage shower bath, quick internet…), but the biggest advantage of this hotel is the staff, which is extremely kind and helpful (specially Vladimir). I am sure, that in the whole Kiev you will not find a better staff than VS apartments staff, so do not hesitate and book you room until it is too late..
