  I took my wife to the Fairmont Grand Hotel in Kyiv as this was originally where she had requested we go for our "honeymoon" last year. It didn't work out for several reasons.   The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, even letting us check in early after an overnight flight. The hotel is very clean and new. The room was very large and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. There was a good variety on the breakfast bar. There were also many nice restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as the convenience of the funi... what people say » cular and the metro right next to the hotel. - I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way for us. I was traveling with my small daughter. When we went for breakfast, they met up with a high chair for our use - I did not have to ask. The location cannot be beat. And, the cost was reasonable. We did not have to pay until we checked out so I liked that too.

  The room / bathroom are very clean. The staff at the lobby bar / cafe are efficient and friendly. It served a god choice of light and medium meals. I love the cakes! The breakfast is good. Staff at the front desk are excellent. The meeting room that we used was suitably located and quiet. If I have to return to Kiev, I will stay at the same hotel ... what people say » again. Best wishes to the staff. - Sadly I can say its the worst 4 star hotel in kiev. Price for value is not exsiting. I told the front desk manager that I would never stay there again she didn't seems to care. I suggest pick another one unless u want weird suprizes. Like deposit for mini bar, pay cash room service and etc.
