Convenient location. 'Proper English seaside pub'. Rooms were recently decorated and clean and tidy. Pub itself friendly, unpretentious, no food as in an area of takeaways and restaurants. Fab Elvis night - well done Nige!!!. Could see the beach from our room. Breakfast was excellent. Close to taxis and railway station.easy access to the town. good position in town. four poster bed. Friendly staff. Good position to visit the many interesting places all around. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. the access to the rooms and the location. That it had a shower and Hand Wash Basin in the room. Close proximity to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was the only one offered, but the room was Ok for one night as we caught the ferry early in the morning and they put a good choice of a continental breakfast in our room. This pub has a number of bedrooms. It is within throwing distance of the beach and all amenities are within easy walking distance. friendly staff and nearness to station. good breakfast. not a lot the bedding smelled and was of poor quality. The shower did not work and no choise on breakfast. Very little. The welcome could have been warmer. The toilet was on the landing next to the room, but was not aproblem for me.Toilet sharing - but did know before we booked the room. noise, stairs to rooms. Not many choices on breakfast. The Hotel's road is a little noisy. I stated that one guest was vegetarian on the online booking form, and we received two standard breakfasts. The room was noisy but that was due to its position above a pub and near all the pubs and clubs in Weymouth.where the bathroom was. I didn't like having to leave the room to go the toilet, and both myselfand my husband felt that there was enough room for a toilet in the roomalong with the shower as well, but I can't speak for any other room as Ididn't see them, but I do know that other rooms had toilets in them asit said it in the itinerary, this room was chosen for value and cost.No breakfast menu or options given for choice of breakfast ie. full english, cereal etc. No en-suite facilities, and didn't imagine it would let the placedown so much. The bedroom was NOT ensuite as described WC was shared along a corridor. A bit noisy in the evening. Noise of traffic- limited time availability for breakfast (9.00-9.30am). It is a pub with load music,. Be aware that the pub is on a major thoroughfare so there is constant noise of traffic and the town maintenance crews are up early too!. overpriced-no en-suite toilet,no bed-side light or table,no chair. The dog was a nusiance as kept barking. Some small adjustment would go a long way to improve this. Clean and better quality bedding would help and a working shower is a must. It was overpriced (£85). The Atlantic Room (four poster bed) was cramped, there was no heating in the bathroom or the room itself, the shower was pathetic. To suggest this could be used as a honeymoon suite would be a poor start to someone's married life!.
