The food was excellent,breakfast was one of the best we eaten for ages. Really liked the live TV pictures in the bar of the stream, just a shame the Otters didn't perform for the camera while we were there! It was really peaceful and was just what we wanted. Do go to Usk Castle and enjoy the gardens they are really lovely.
Lovely hotel with plenty of character in a quiet location.
The food was beautiful and the staff were very polite and helpful. We stayed for our 1st Wedding Anniversary as we wanted somewhere to relax and unwind and couldn't fault our stay here. I would recommend the Olway Inn to everyone looking for that quite night away.all reviews »
The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel/pub was clean , comfortable with a lovely garden for relaxing. We were unable to try the food in the evening this time but were told it was very good. We visited for the open gardens weekend in Usk and will return next year and stay at the Olway.
friendly welcome, spotlessly clean. owner was really nice and served a lovely breakfast himself. he even took the trouble to show us his hens and herb garden because we had shown an interest. It was within walking distance to USK yet was in beautiful countryside. I would definately stay there again.

bedroom and bathroom with some lovely touches such as bottles of mineral water,a jar of sweets and an umbrella for the stay in addition to the usual tea, coffee, biscuits, flat screen television etc. Good food, well cooked, friendly staff.
The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere in the pub was very pleasant. The room was very clean and well equipt. Breakfast was excellent and the service was also. Both Nicola and Matthew were excellent hosts. Will return again even if only for the food.
The staff were extremely friendly and made us welcome as soon as we walked through the door, as did the resident dog! A very clean place and the food was first class. Would recommend the Olway Inn to anyone and we are looking forward to our next visit very soon.
Couldn't have asked for more from a bed and breakfast. The food was great, the rooms warm, well cleaned, nice decor and attention to detail. The staff we were also welcoming and a useful source of local information on such a beautiful location.
Passionate staff..excellent chef who serves delicious home-made food..any request not too much trouble. A very friendly place to stay. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. Thankyou to all at the Olway for a relaxing weekend.
Great menu, with a wide range of dishes. Both of the evening meals were of a very high standard as was the english breakfast.
The Free Wifi in Bar and Room was a nice bonus.

Lovely relaxed county setting, but with easy road access and ample off road parking.
The distance from usk was only 5mins and a lovely walk, the staff and owners matt and nic were very friendly and very helpful, the food was very good, ample portions and a wide choice. Would definitely stay here again .
I loved the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast left outside my door as I needed to leave before they started serving breakfast was wonderful!.
