I spent there one night only. This hotel is good for 2 Star. Full breakfast and other choices. You can have lunch and dinner for additional fee. There were an Electric Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar. 5 min walk from the beach. You can have lunch or dinner in any restaurants on the beach. They are not expencive. Nice, convenient, well-located, inexpensive. It felt quite empty although during the breakfast there seemed to be quite a lot of people. Bright red velvet sofas in one of the public spaces looked a bit bizarre, but contributed well to the detached (maybe a bit shabby) and romantic atmosphere of the place.

Popular with guests on bus tours, so breakfast can be rushed, with priority to those about to leave on buses. Read previous reviews about the beds being small, I paid for a single room and I'm 5 months pregnant. The bed was spacious, bigger than a single, not quite a double. The breakfast was nice, the lady serving was polite and so helpful. Excellent value for money and would stay again!. The room was very clean and child friendly. The staff were very nice and even asked if we wanted breakfast for our young baby. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfy. The quality of the food at breakfast was brilliant. We were all asked how we would like our eggs. the staff is really nice. we are so hurry to go for our ship that we have no time to eat breakfast but she asked kitchen to make some sanwiches for us. It is really kind of her. Staff was really good...we requested for keeping our luggage at the reception post check out & they happily agreed. Room was clean & no issues with hot water. The atmosphere was wonderful the moment we arrived. The staff were so warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. good price, very good breakfast. staff were very good especially at breakfast. location was good, not far from beach. However, compared to Roseglen Hotel nearby, it is inferior. The room was comfortable for the price and the staff were lovely. They were very friendly. Nothing was to much truble. It was close to the Cliff walk and gardens and in easy reach of the Old Village. The building may need a bit of paint and there was an empty beer can in the garden, but otherwise it was great for the money we paid. Basic, no frills, no telephones in rooms, simple facilities, small crt televisions, but what can you expect at £25 a head?. For 22.50 a night with breakfast included, I have nothing to complain about!!. Alot of sound travelled from other rooms and the hallway someone turning a tap on in another room was very loud in our room. The breakfast was a little small and wasn't quite what I would expect from a full English as there was no mushrooms or hash browns offered also it was not stated on the menu what was with the breakfast as I don't like tomatoes and they were put on top of my bacon but I was unaware whether they would be served or not so couldn't ask for my breakfast without them. some bath rooms are bath and some are shower. It is better to have both of them.. We felt it was too far from city & other location esp. If you are using public transport. Since its cost effective, use the bus time table effectively to plan your travel & reduce bus waiting time :).. only problem would be no lift for older customers. rooms could need updating. A bit tired. Breakfast is very small with only 1 piece of bacon, 1 egg, 1 sausage, half slice of fried bread, a tomato and about 20 baked beans... can leave you questing for more food by mid-morning. outdated furniture. No free Wi-Fi available in room. The Menu, it was very limited and uninspiring. I felt it was targetting an older audience. Noise. Smal tv. No lift. The Breakfast was Small. nothing. Good if you are travelling with car , else its a bit of steep walk. I need of redecorating and modernising but the investment would obviously push the price up. Breakfast ending early on a weekend. Breakfast was to formal and was worked very much on budget. It is 2013 not 1970 Poor communication when I arrived they had No record of us be being booked in. So not a great welcome I told the person about us leaving early on the Saturday and she said she would sort out Tea & Toast before we left. She failed to do so and we left with nothing that's poor in terms of being professional. The lady when we left was very much on the ball very nice and helpful. 2 room had bad carpet and the room was untidy. Condition of toilet , cover of duvets were dirty .No shower to take a bath. Stairs Cold Nights No Shower No Dinner. We were put in a room that had just been repainted and smelt strongly of paint. Facilities in hotel room were bad bacis things like shower head and handwash was not provided. Very old fashioned but ticks every box for a one night stay lots of stairs. A bit cold and felt damp could have done with some heating. Dining facilities the tea pots and milk jug looked messy need to be replaced hard water and tea cold as the lid did not close properly looks like some need replacing all adds to the experience, the dining area was nice which was spoilt buy the crockery and untensils looking drab. On dull days being an old building needs to be warm and cosy. Rooms very tired need updating. Needs renovation. small problem with the table at breakfast,too many people do not have enough tables.but it was not a big problem. everything is old and worn. Shower was not there in twin-rooms, rooms were not well cleaned.b. Very out of date, poorly furnished, needs major update. Couldn't see the tiny TV from anywhere in the room!. The car park was always full. The rooms were not clean. Music was played until late so I slept with ear plugs. We got our breakfast the first day with only four half slices of toast and were ignored when we tried to ask for more. The second day we managed to ask for more after 20min. The lady said she wanted to bring more toast but then she ignored us again and we gave up. Never again, even for that price of 25 Pounds. We got breakfast from co-op later on, cheaper and better. Hotel is tired and in need of complete renovation. Parking is inadequate. Breakfast was very poor as was service at the bar. Music from bar kept us awake. People smoking underneath our room were noisy and smoke came into our room. Breakfast was very poor. Bathrooms were small with no showers, very shabby and in need of updating. Inadequate heating - did not replace tea and coffee for second night - TV was almost unreachable - bathroom grubby - needs updating - unorganised at meal time. I stayed at a single room. The single bed is extremely narrow, in fact smaller than the single beds I saw in their twin rooms. I had a very uncomfortable two nights sleep in this hotel just because they are not bothered to put a decent size single bed in there. Room was not comfortable. The hotel is dated, the carpets are in need of replacement and a good hoover in the corridors and lobby. Carpet in bathroom mouldy. No lift. Breakfast mediocre.
