Built in 1893, Streonshalh retains many Victorian features such as original fireplaces. Set at the top of the village with breath-taking sea views, it has exciting breakfasts, and free Wi-Fi.
All rooms at Streonshalh Bed & Breakfast have an en suite shower room with free toiletries. They also all have tea/coffee making facilities, wine glasses and corkscrews and some rooms have views towards the sea.
A full English breakfast is available, as well as lighter options such as fresh seasonal fruit salad, Whitby smoked kippers, smoked salmon, pancakes and English muffins. Home-baked banana bread or scones can be taken away for a mid-morning snack and all diets are catered for.
Whitby and its Rail Station are less than 15 minutes away by car and guests can visit the Bay Museum, which is a 2-minute walk from Streonshalh. There is free parking near the property.

Everything the owners were very friendly showed us to our room and the lovely smell of fresh linen when they opened the door was beautiful.They even had bottles of water for you wine glasses,mini fridge,corkscrew which in all the b and b's that we have stayed in never supply.The lovely smell of home baking that was made for you to take home was gorgeous.The cooked breakfast and the bowl of fresh fruit in the morning was lovely.

The B&B was immaculate, rooms spotless and bright. The most comfortable bed I have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. The breakfast was amazing the choice outstanding, fresh fruit cocktail, full cooked breakfast, smoked salmon and eggs, I could go on. Proprietors Kevin and Debbie were very helpful, even down to removing a stubborn curry stain from my T shirt on arrival. This hotel is a fabulous find... A must.
We liked the position as you had good access and parking in a place that gets very busy .Upon our arrival we were made very welcome .We asked advice on places to eat and on there advice we had an excelant meal .the guest house is nicely decorated especially the original features in the dinning room.On th day of departure a nice touch was. Being given some home baking for the journey home which was lovely.
We had a wonderful romantic get away at this fabulous B andB. The owners were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was huge! We didn't need to eat again all day. Oh and the complimentary banana bread to take away was absolutely divine-thank you.
Overall, a nice quite spot that is well positioned.

could not fault anything owners were great and friendly with good info of restaurants pubs and places to visit also good knowledge of bus and train times hotel was clean and comfortable rooms replenished every day and the breakfast was excellent with scones and banana bread to take away with you for during the day no hesitation to return thank you streonshalh.
Kevin and Debbie were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make
our stay enjoyable, there was food in abundance and the rooms had plenty
of nice touches like complmentary drinks, chocolates, mints, small
fridge, wine glasses and cork screw. The tiffin that Debbie made to take
away was Yummy. Overall I can't think of anything that was missing.
Everything!! From the minute you arrive to the sad moment you leave. The facilities were spotlessly clean and attention to detail was evident throughout. Kev and Debbie are extremely professional, friendly and attentive ensuring the stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as they could possibly make it. Many many thanks. Highly recommended.
Friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean, airy and very comfortable with lovely touches such as chocolates and wine glasses provided. The breakfasts were fantastic and the home cooked treats - Banana Bread, Tiffin and Fruit Scones sustained us on our walks during the day.

Fabulous breakfasts with home cooked food, lovely fruit salad , home baking and jams. The room was clean and had everything we needed ie hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel. On street car parking was easy. Hosts were very knowledgable about the area and where to eat. We will return.
Everything from the warm welcome to the final goodbye was excellent. Super views from a very cosy room 6. Breakfast was great and the homemade tiffin to take with us on our walk was delicious. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Robin Hood's Bay.
I stayed the night before my wedding and the owners couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. Lovely comfy bed, great bathroom and on a quiet, residential street so less noise than some of the other B&Bs. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location for everything that robin hoods bay has to offer!.
The accomodation was first class- top quality bed and luxurious eygptian cotton bedding.
Loved the little extras - corkscrew wine glasses, and that lovely homemade cake to take away!
Kevin made sure we had everything we needed.
