Unfortunately I had a nose bleed whilst staying here and the staff changed sheets etc immediately, very good. Very good food. Friendly helpful staff. Good sized room. Quiet rural location. acess to the broads. Helpful staff. Good sized room, Cleaners did a sterling job. . Disabled facilities.nice location, friendly staff ,pleasant clean room ,good restaurant. The location was ideal for accessing the broads. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staf.people very friendly. Having had some fantastic times there about 8 years ago we were heart broken to find the hotel fallen into a total state of disrepair.There was nothing we liked about this hotel.We had a long wait for a meal in the restaurant on the first night. very disorganised. N/A, a small/mini refridgerator in the room would be welcome. The heating was at the convenience of the hotel, not the guests. Plus nohot water the first morning - possibly due to construction works. Allergic to lillies, despite advising owner on arrival, lillies remained in pub toilet area and when restaurant opened Bank Holiday weekend lillies were put in there too, hence did not eat there in evenings apart from first night. Found plenty of other places to eat during remainder of week. Lillies made me ill !!!!! Matress on bed very hard.rather noisy --could here the occupant upstairs walking around and someone in another room snoring!. too much safety signage. The bed was a bit on the hard side and quite a bit of noise from people moving about upstairs. In the middle of renovations. Menu not brilliant. Staff helpful but could do with a bit more training.The new owners were scruffy and had no idea how to run a hotel.How do these people get into the hotel trade.Rooms were dirty,the restaurant was closed,the place smelled of stale smoke.

The Horse & Groom Restaurant is well known for its culinary fare. Meals are available 7 days a week, with seafood and steaks as the house specialities. Dishes are created using the freshest and finest seasonal produce.
The bar is open 12:00-14:00 and 17:00-20:00 Monday to Sunday.
Important information to guests
Family rooms are available on request only. Price are on application.
Guest should bring their own linen for their cots.
Reception is closed between 3pm and 7pm for arrivals on Sundays between Oct and April.

Great Yarmouth (around 9.5 km) - this town has been a seaside resort since 1760.
Berney Arms Windmill (around 15 km) - see one of Norfolk's largest, extant marsh mills.
Burgh Castle (around 20 km) - this is the site of a Roman fort built as defence against Saxon raids. Enjoy the views out over Breydon Water, the Halvergate Marshes and the Berney Arms Windmill.

Travelling information
From Great Yarmouth:
- Follow signposts on the A149 towards Potter Heigham.
- The hotel is on the A149 about 5 km outside Great Yarmouth.
From Norwich:
- Take the A47. At the Acle roundabout take the A1064 old Caister Rd.
- Drive for 5.9 km until you come to Fleggburgh. Turn left at the Kings Arms pub.
- At the end of the road (2.4 km) you will see the hotel.
