Lovely people and environment, very comfortable room including bed! Attention to detail, refreshments in room. toiletries, location perfect, choice for breakfast, presentation. The fridge in our room was also an added and welcome surprise which we were able to use. We had a lovely stay and would certainly go back:). Both Ian and Tess (the proprietors), the room's furniture, size, four poster.And also the great breakfast provided :-) Location - being on the seafront and a minute's walk from the shops and an abundance of places to eat. Excellent recommendations given by both Ian and Tess.
all reviews » There were some parking issues but the staff were very helpful, finding us space. They also assisted with moving our baggage in and out. Good free wifi in the bedrooms, something that a number of larger more modern hotels do not provide. We went to Llandudno to do some shopping, decided to stay the night, had a wonderful experience in the hotel, room was lovely, had the four poster bed, breakfast was exceptional, very friendly and will stay there next time in town. The fact that the owner assisted me in finding a parking space, travelling in the car, something that has never happened previously. True customer concern. Totally recommend with no reservations. A very good location, opposite the promenade so everything is within easy walking distance. Being family-run it has nice friendly atmosphere and the owners were very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel albeit for one night,it was very welcoming and the facilities location and breakfast were very good indeed, we would not hesitate to stay there again. Breakfast choices not made clear enough, was aware fruit was available if asked for, but wasn't aware yoghurts were also available, didn't like to ask and would have appreciated information being on menu. That said it was only a minor issue. There was nothing else that we didn't like:). Nothing, we enjoyed our stay. Rather a long wait to check in on a Sunday evening at 6.00pm and out next morning. Had to park a long way away but not a problem for us. Our New Zealand friends were somewhat bemused by all the soft toys in reception! Would have loved a croissant at breakfast and more fruit for self service. The lack od a lift to save us 44 stairs!!. Having to walk up to floor 3!. Would have liked a sea view, but cant have everything!. Very small rooms and no elevators. Word of warning there is no lift here. Room was too warm. Was a little bit noisy at "closing time". Not really an issue for us, but worth bearing in mind. nothing. Room was on second floor and hotel has no lift. Parking was very difficult and we were out of season.High season it must be impossible.Only thing to make you think about if you go back. limited car parking space. N/A. there was nothing we didn't like. WE failed to ask about a lift at the hotel. The 49 steps up to a beautiful room nearly killed us but once in the room, we forgot about the climb!. only one complaint that was there was no hot water coming out of shower only the tapes on the sink but was told they couldn't get a plumber on a weekend. no lift in hotel. Nothing. There is no lift or accommodation for people with trouble walking. We were moved around at breakfast to another table because of a group of golfers taking up other tables, didn't like the table we were moved to. we had paid £122 per night and felt our money was just as good as the golfers but felt they got preferential treatment!. Nothing!. Coming home. Room was a little cold. Poor parking facilities, but then that's the same over Llandudno. nothing. Room was small - ok for one night but not much longer. shower too small for anyone not young and agile. No instructions for use of the controls of the shower. During nights it was noisy. As we had room as the front it was really noisy. expensive. Nothing.
