ALL staff very friendly, couldn't do enough. I arived late, about 10.30. p.m., there was a warm greeting, there was the did I need anything extra, and the phone no. for if I did. The pillow with the firmness corner, that was a great touch. That sort of special feeling even at 6.45 a.m. over breakfast, and being able to have tinned tomotes or fresh. A good selection of breaksast items. What more can I say.
all reviews » The room was a lovely size for 4 of us.The bathroom was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was set out brilliantly and it catered for all our tastes especially our youngest who asked for a bacon butty with no butter on the bread ! We certainly be using Premier Inns from now on. The receptionist remembered me from a previous stay which was a pleasent surprise, Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made my stay a pleasurable one. I would defo stay again and a massive thank you to the staff who were exceptional. Really enjoyed the stay, comfortable, clean and value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and polite in particular Christine on reception, she was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Please pass on my thanks to her. Thank you. The staff are always happy and very helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. And the breakfast is amazing. We have stayed before and will definitely be staying again. Everything. I have problems with mobility and all the facilities in our room and in the hotel made it easy for us. My second visit to Darlington Premier Inn (collecting my daughter from Durham Uni) Staff always delightful and friendly - attached Beefeater is a plus & Costa Coffee a real bonus !. The hotel staff were abosolutely excellent. Friendly, helpful, polite. The breakfast was perfect and the rooms were clean and comfortable. An excellent place to stay. Hotel staff went out of there way to be pleasant and helpful. A very pleasant stay will definitely stay here next time we are in Darlington. Restaurant very good. Premier inn Darlington was very clean all the beds were made and the lady on the desk when checking in was wonderfu. I would definitely stay there again. Just really easy and comfortable. Location Good food. Friendly. The room was really in need of a vacume; there were a lot of bits on the floor down the side of the bed. This however is not the sort of thing that you can complain about at 10.45 p.m. at night. Nothing. All was excellent. Nothing. Rooms would not get warm no mater how high we tried to set the thermostat ! :(. A little out of centre. This may be beyond your control, but we had booked for inclusive breakfast on the Sunday and we had to join a queue of what we believe to be outside visitors. Breakfast and staff was good though. Potholes in the car park. How very hard your staff work! They were so, so busy at breakfast time, but kept smiling, being helpful and doing their best! Absolute troopers! I hope you appreciate them, Mr. Premier Inn!!. Only one towel for 2 people in each room, however when we did mention it to the staff they did say they would get us a spare one. We had a put up bed for one of the children, which was very uncomfortable, so my little boy ended up sleeping in our bed as he could not sleep on the small put up bed, causing us not to have much sleep. I found the cost rather high as a single parent on a budget. noise from cleaning cupboard door opening constantly all day. having my room number loudly called out as it was checked off the breakfast list, solo female traveller and policy is to not say out loud at reception but did in breakfast room infront of alot of males. Bed extremely uncomfortable, pillows were all soft. Breakfast is usually buffet style, it was not mentioned that this was not the case at this hotel. Waitress very slow in taking orders. Poor shower. Nothing. laundry bins outside of our downstairs room window. very cold rooms and eating area. made to have a £8.50 meal each(didnt eat)atbreakfast so I could sit with my daughter and very young grand children whose father died recently. discusted. Disabled room no walk in shower, had to struggle to get over side of bath. Nothing. bed not as very comfortable as we have come to expect from this chain. Beds too small, had to,book,am,extra room". the bathroom was not very clean blood on seat hair in bath and grim came off taps in sink. The bed was extremely hard and not very comfortable at all. Just a little picky, the I would have preferred a settee. poor heating system; Heating was not working and I had to get a fan heater in the middle of the night, fan heater[portable] was very noisy and I hardly had any sleep all night. As I was working all day next day[from 8.30 am to 8 pm] I had a very bad day due to poor or no sleep night before. Had a disable room, as the hotel was fully booked. No telephones. Unable to ring my wife. the window was a bit mouldy and the tap in the bathroom kept dripping the hairdryer was rubbish and ripped a chunk of hair out of my daughters hair!!! was over half hour drive away from where i wanted to be but i wanted a premier inn so my decision. Room in need of up dating bathroom door not closing correctly even with a sign on door saying MUST be shut due to sensitive smoke alarm. Noisy bathroom - tapping noise, lights not working correctly. Bed is tiny. Noise from upstairs caused a restless night and bed not comfy unlike other premier inn stayed at.
