The Barn Annexe is set in private grounds 7 miles from Stansted airport and 2 miles from Bishop's Stortford with a direct 35 minute rail link to Stratford for the Olympic stadium, London and Cambridge. The rooms each have an en suite power shower. You will have a TV, DVD player, toiletries, toaster, and fridge. The fridge has free milk, juice, water, bread, jam and cereals every day. The Barn Annexe has good access to London, Cambridge, Bishop's Stortford and Harlow. An excellent village pub is nearby, serving lunch and dinner. A golf course is a short drive away from the annexe.

Kevin and Pauler made us feel very welcome.. We stayed in the house rather than an annexe and this was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was really good and exceptional value at only £2.50 each. The local pub was very friendly and served good food at a reasonable price. I would recommend this B&B for anyone who needs to stay in this area. Really clean, modern, well appointed and comfortable room. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The £2.50 full english breakfast upgrade has to be the best deal in town and the quality is first class. Even taking the cheap price out of the equation, this is the place to stay in the local area.

Ten minutes drive from Stansted airport and two miles from the main train station in Bishop's Stortford which provides regular trains to and from London Liverpool Street and Cambridge. The Barn Annexe provides excellent accommodation for overnight guests or contractors working in Stansted, Bishop's Stortford or Harlow. Situated in private grounds of two acres all rooms have ground floor access and are clean, comfortable and spacious. We have an excellent village pub providing lunch time and evening meals. We have a large private car park which is suitable for cars, vans and larger works vehicles.

Important information to guests

If you are due to arrive after 22:30, you must contact The Barn Annexe to arrange check-in. Early check-in may be possible with advance notice.

Room information details

Our twin and superking rooms can also be offered for single occupancy at a reduced rate. The decor is clean and simple and all rooms are comfortable and spacious. En suite power showers with toiletries and bath towels provided. Bathrobes can be provided upon request. Each room has tea and coffee facilities, a refridgerator and the option to have breakfast set up in the room for guests departing early (before 7.30 a.m.) Each room has its own private entrance and doors are secured by a key provided for guests upon arrival.

Travelling information

Arrangements can be made to collect guests from Bishop's Stortford station at certain times. If travelling by car detailed directions can be sent on request.
