Room was fab. Suppose the decor was not right up to date but room was big, it was tidy, (no marks on walls, no signs of looking tired at all), bed was comfy, loads of tea and coffee, bathroom was also large and everywhere was super clean. Really nice idea for brekki. Good range of cereal, pastries, bread, fruit. All help yourself. Put what you want on a tray and take it back to your room to enjoy at your leisure. Reminded me of a fab european and new york holiday. Really relaxed. Would recommen. all reviews »
Good central location near to Prenton park football ground and also Prenton.
Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We experienced no heating on the 1st night. After reporting the problem to management we received a replacement heater within ten minutes As a apology for no heating we received a free dinner from the restaurant downstairs.
Food in the restaurant was extremely nice.

Accommodation is above a very nice Itilian Restaraunt. And was
comfortable, clean room with all the usual facilities and more - trouser
press, tea/coffee, Wi Fi ensuite etc. Friendly staff nice
continental breakfast set up outside room. Very convenient in Birkenhead
for the Liverpool Belfast Ferry. I would be happy to use again.
The accommodation was first class as was the service. We arrived early evening and enjoyed, without booking a table in the restaurant, the finest pizza we have had in the UK. It beast anything we experienced in Italy only six weeks ago.
It was good value. Staff were friendly. It was a good location for me personally visiting family. There was a resteraunt as part of accomodation which was available and convenient and seemed very popular tho I didn't use it.

The room was clean and had all you would expect at the price. Noise was not intrusive. The décor was 1930's so OK if you like retro style. The bed was comfortable. Good restaurant below the hotel rooms which were on the first floor.
The room was clean and with all facilities that I needed. The meal I ate in the restaurant was very good. The buffet breakfast was very handy for me and meant that I could make an early start in the morning.

The breakfast was a basic buffet which was ok given the price but would have liked real butter and maybe nicer bread. There was a little bit of noise from the restraint below.
The shower in my room provided only a lukewarm trickle.
There was no sign of the promised continental breakfast.
The Italian restaurant food was straightforward and hearty but not good value for money.
Breakfast was rather poor. My room had creaky floor boards, making any
movement difficult when trying not to disturb other guests.
I did not like that the wfi did not work the signal was not strong
enough that was very upsetting for me as this was how I would be keeping
in touch with family back in states.

We did not dislike any thing really,other than the room was so hot we
had to leave the window open all night, And the road out side is very

The shaver light did not work. You couldn't get BBC 1 and BBC 2 on the TV. The reception desk was only staffed when the restaurant was open so check out was give the keys to the cleaner. The Wi-Fi was free but the signal was only strong enough near the door. The desk was very small. Four sheets of A4 would cover it.

The room had no heating it was freezing , one member of staff put the radiator on but no heat from it very cold , and no heating in bathroom ,.
when checkin on hotel need to go through restaurant with luggage with the restaurant full of customers eating, bedrooms smell a lot of the food been cook in the restaurant, ask for the invoice and it was given the confirmation of card machine and ask again the stuff answer was "that paper was the invoice(????)".
the size of the cobwebs, mould & shower that only worked for 8 seconds before burning you or freezing you, breakfast of old bread & milk that was nearly yougurt.
