What people say
Wonderful English breakfast, friendly staff and beautiful country
setting. I could have stayed there longer. The countryside was so
pleasant to relax in. If you are looking for a place to get away from
City life and just enjoy nature, horses, green land, peace, The Old
Granary is for you. And, it is a hop, skip and a jump to Sleaford and
Lincoln so you are not that secluded.
Cheerful, gracious hosts Paula and Will helped us over-and- above normal expectations (Will fixed our car exhaust on a Sat. afternoon; we were miles from nearest garage, everything closed for weekend). Nice setting, very good value for money, good breakfast, very clean, lovely accommodation, comfortable, relaxing.all reviews »
The Old Granary is an exceptional B&B the owners (Will & Paula) are amongst the most genial hosts we have ever met. nothing is too much trouble , we look forward to our next trip to Ashby - Thanks to Will & Paula for a lovely stay.
Superb building with comfortable rooms and large bathroom. Large lounge with open fire, stone floors all in a lovely barn conversion. You couldn't wish to meet a nicer couple and Paula made the best breakfast we had all week.
the old granary guest house is first class. I have travelled with my job for going on 30 years and i have to rate this guest house as one of my top stays, i will be returning if in the lincoln area

Very friendly & helpful couple who own & run the Old Granary. Comfortable room with ensuite along with an excellent breakfast. Quiet spot. Excellent value for money. Perfect for us.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very well presented. The Granary was situated in a beautiful spot with lovely countryside views. Breakfast was superb.
Owners'ambitions are high and well on the way to succeeding. High quality surroundings well maintained. A large cut above your usual B&B.
The whole ambience of the place was very good. Lovely homely lounge and dining area with a good choice of well cooked breakfast.
Welcoming owners. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Delicious English breakfast. And very good value.
Friendly staff/owners
Good clean accomodation.
Varied and plentiful breakfast.
excellent value for money in a beautiful location.
Very friendly reception and a comfortable stay.
The clean condition and very helpful staff.
Everything.
B & B hard to find, a bit isolated (no pub in village) but good for walks in the countryside.
There was nothing at all to complain about - Just one tip - when looking for the entrance look out for the Water Tower almost opposite.
Leaving...
nothing.
I could not initially find the hotel, despite my satnav. Would benefit from a sign 200-300 m from the turnoff to The Granary.
Finding the place. Drive down the lane opposite the water tower. You might not find the notice board because it's small and well hidden by tree branches.
My wife would have liked a hook on which to hang clothes in the en-suite!.
I had a slight problem climbing into the shower.
Nothing.
