Anna was particularly helpful in obtaining gluten free breakfast. Both
Anna and Paul were friendly, as well as their little dog titch - who
wasn't intrusive but very approachable. The parking at the rear was
excellent, and we were permitted to park there until late on the last
day of our holiday so we could stay in Ambleside for the lantern parade.

A spotlessly clean family run B&B, with lovely owners and staff, right in the centre of Ambleside. I can't wait to visit again. Extreemly comfy beds and an amazing choice for breakfast. (Try the bacon, it is the best I've tasted in many years!) I've stayed in Ambleside before on many occasions, but this was my first time at Wordsworth's. I'm glad I found it!.
Attractive, well maintained house very close Ambleside centre. Good variety on offer for breakfast and the cooked breakfasts are delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good spacious bathroom. Owners and staff very friendly and welcoming.
We liked everything about this guesthouse. Anna and Paul were so friendly and made us so welcome.Our bedroom was the twinroom which was quite luxurious and the ensuite was spotless Breakfasts were plentiful and the cooked breakfast was great.
The best B&B I have stayed in Ambleside - very welcoming - Anna was a great host - extremely clean and loved the decor. We had a room on top floor with an annex room - very useful as we were doing lots of walking and had a lot of kit.
We stayed here for our Honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised to be presented with a bottle of bubbly and beers. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you to Anna and Paul for the advice on local knowledge and being wonderful hosts.
Lovely rooms - beautiful decor. Shower room very clean and modern. Very friendly staff and great breakfasts. Ample parking and close to Ambleside centre. This is our 3rd visit to the Wordsworth and we will return!.
A level of customer service that a lot of higher ranking establishments
could learn a lot from. Paul & Anna were friendly, hospitable and
went out of their way to meet our needs. The bed was super comfortable.
Anna fantastic host helpful with information on site parking close to
town and shops and lots of eateries would recommend we are going again

The Wordsworh Guest House was a great place to stay. It is ideally located with Ambleside village a short walk away. The staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast and room were fantastic.
