The house boasts a picturesque location on the shores of Loch Sunart, on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Rockpool is situated in Resipole, just 5 miles from Acharacle and 8 miles from Strontian.

Wow! What can we say - a cosy, comfortable, well-equipped apartment with amazing views out of the windows over the sea loch. A warm welcome from our hosts and a lovely surprise to find a home baked cake and essential supplies such as tea, milk etc waiting for us on the day of our arrival. Many thanks. The scenery around the apartment is stunning beyond words. Beauty, peace, silence, wildlife everywhere...Makes one yearn to stay there for ever. Regret that we had not booked longer than 3 nights.
all reviews » Everything was perfect: Resipole is a quite remote but wonderful place between sea and mountains. The owners are very nice and helpful people. The rooms are very clean, with nice furniture and decoration. Bathroom is well designed, nice and very clean. The breakfast in family's dining room was great with quality and some home-made products. The mezzanine with it's large bay window with view on the fjord (sorry... loch!) was very impressive and I could stay there for hours watching outside! I on. Richard and Val extended a fantastic welcome to me. They were very knowledgable about the area and where to see local wildlife, which was the reason for my trip. The facilities were excellent as was the breakfast and they even gave me a flask of tea for my day out. Very friendly and I will stay there again. It's in a fabulous location on a loch. The road to get there is an adventure in its self but well worth it when you arrive. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. The Location is excellent, the bedrooms look out over a quiet sea loch with abundant wildlife and bags of peaceful character, Google street view the location and see for yourself as you may not believe just how good it is. The hosts are always looking to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and everything was spotless, new and very pleasant. Everything was perfect! One could not wish for more - great hosts, spacious room with all the aminities and little extras you might want or need; quiet and ideal location - with your feet almost in the waters of loch Sunart....a place and accommodation you will always want to come back to!. one of the best B & Bs we have stayed in - great location across the water, clean and luxurious - + gourmet breakfast - and wonderful hosts who go beyond the call of duty - all at a reasonable price. Wish we could have stayed longer!. Val and Richard were excellent hosts, the room was in perfect condition and the views from the room and lounge were some of the best in Scotland. Perhaps a little noise from the activity to prepare the excellent breakfast for 8am in the morning from the room below as it's a new property with limited sound deadening in the floors, but that just served to ensure we didn't miss breakfast. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing at all. I wasted a week staying in other place's. absolutely nothing!. Absolutely nothing. No bad points. Nothing whatsoever to complain about. Nothing.
