The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nice location right in the heart of Carsi section of Safranbolu. Rooms in this Ottoman house (built in 1848) renovated into a guesthouse were clean and very nice. Enjoyed the stay here very much and would recommend it to anyone visiting Safranbolu. I washere the early part of August 2013. great location, good breakfast, free pick-up service and wifi, friendly staff. I will choose Yildiz Pension again if visiting Safranbolu.

The owner of this hostel and all the services he provided were very good and they were great assets to my trip in turkey. We were delighted to meet a genuine Safranbolu family, and to enjoy our time in the wonderfully unchanged environment. The environment is very nice. Hostel service is terrific! Price is really reasonable!!. Great location, verb helpful staff good value for location. Clean and tidy. We were upgraded to closer location. Great breakfast, friendly family. saflanbolu otogar离古城区有点远，最后一天老板开车送我们去车站，很感动~. attitude to children. The price is quite cheap comparing to other places in Safranbolu. They also have dorm room, but somehow it's not shown on this website. The owner is really friendly. He offered to take me to Amasra in his taxi (because his family is going, too) with a very reasonable price. - The staff, Cengiz, is so helpful to pick us at otogar and drive us there at night time. Thanks a lot about that. - He also offer us to stay in room until time to bus (11.00pm) - Rooms and houses are older than I can imagine. Very close to old city. pick-up service was very helpful to us. Good money value. Good wifi. Ok bed. a little noisy due to old house. Not really, but I wish I can eat more on their free breakfast :-). Nothing. Sometimes hot water was not available. We came late and got double instead of booked triple. However paid for triple. The room is not so well-maintained. There were cracks on the floor. And I can hear the water from upstair and people talking in the next room. Feel cold in room at night. Restaurants in old city are not so good for us. Go to new town would be better. Unfortunately this has been the worst place I have stayed in for years. The breakfast was only served after I waited for 30 min: one other guest told me she had waited for over an hour! The water in the sink was only cold, and came out of a garden hose! There was no TV as promised. There was no onsite parking as promised.
