This place is very well-appointed and clean. It seemed very new. It is very close to the Mevlana Museum, just a 2-min. Walk or so. We travelled there by bus, and we then took the tram from the bus station to Aladdin Tepesi, and walked 10 min. To the hotel.This was doable once we figured it out and several kind citizens of Konya helped us. I like that the hotel is bright blue, it makes it easier to find. Breakfast was a decent buffet with a view of the Mevlana Museum.

We came from the states so customer service was a big deal to us...the staff and specifically Ahmed, was so kind and helpful. Hassan was also a very warm-hearted, true, and helpful person :) thank you Rumi Hotel!. Service was excellent. The staff are really nice and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. The location could not be any better as you are just steps away from the Mevlana Museum and all the shops. I just wish however that they would not put the name Rumi on their bathroom slippers. But otherwise I would highly recommend everyone to stay here!. We had the greatest 3 day hotel stay at Rumi. The manager provided for our every need including arranging a tour of the oldest inhabited site, Carahouyk, and Sille , the oldest ongoing inhabited community. Giving This hotel 10 rating in every category even seems inadequate. Very good location, nearby to Mevlana Museum and walking distance to Alaaddin Hill. Was there on saturday night, again walking distance to Mevlana Cultural Centre. Bazaar also close. Dolmuses ran from on front of hotel to otogar. Room was clean and comfortable. Not much to see in Konya. The whirling dervishes are not too exciting. Well, it's time to renovate some facilities like air condition, shower-head. And sipped of wifi was awful. smell of tobacco smoke in room. nothing. Old,room with heavy cigarette smell, cigarette burns on bedspread, no real coffee, bathroom not completely functionnal. Bed was very hard and we had two singles instead of a double which we had booked. letsbookhotel.com made a terrible mistake and informed the hotel that I needed 2 single rooms. This caused considerable friction at the beginning. I have checked my email with letsbookhotel.com and it clearly states 1 single room for 1 person. I also did not like the intital refusal to serve me dinner on the first night as they had a groupbooking. When I spoke to the manager, I was then served with a meal. Soulless hotel. Food terrible. Had to change rooms as the initial room given was not the room paid for.
