It was actually located very near the blue mosque and many other attractions. However it took the taxi driver a little bit more time to find it when going from airport. Other than that, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room is gorgeous. I personally love the mini terrace very much. This is a very nice and clean hotel, we had a spatious room on the fifth floor with two balconies (nice sea view - room 503), spatious and clean bathroom, bed was comfortable to sleep in, location is excellent, about 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, in general very good value for money!.

Recital was the perfect hotel for me. slightly removed, out of the way, but very close walk to everything. Lots of small boutique hotel feel, intimate, friendly, personal, modern and clean but with local flavor. Everything was a 5 minute walk away. The location to all sites around sultan met was perfect, 10 min from most by foot.the staff were number 1 in cooperation / friendliness etc. the breakfast was well presented, good selection and well staffed.the hotel staff care for you. Location is good for those who wants to spend time in the centre of Istanbul. It is in the middle between grand bazar and famous historical buildings such as Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topcapa Palace. Any 'don't likes' would be really picky. Having to leave. In my opinion rooms in the hotel are in need of some repairs. It is very noisy in the room at night, and this noise is internal. It looks like there is some kind of problem with system of ventilation.It booms and buzzes loudly. Noisy and little bit scary. Breakfast very poor they could add new dish every day, wi fi very lousy . We had to asked for a packed breakfast due to an early start one morning. It was a disaster - one sandwich that had been left out over night so the bread was dry and curled haded to us on a paper tissue. This was the only problem in an other wise excellent stay. Nothing. Breakfast was very good but it was a bit rushed. We were there at 10.15, When we went to get more tea we were told that breakfast was finished at 10.30. No problem on our second day. The view from my window[room 201]!. They charged me for extra bed for cheldern. - a bit expensive expensive - a bit old. Morning prayer announcements. Breakfast was rather average but not worse then in othen places. Towels were not clean enough - looked like they were washed million times.
