Staff: Very helpful. All can speak English (above average). They make you feel at home. This is a serviced apartment, not a hotel. So, it doesn't offer money exchange. The staff do not bother you with other tour offer. So, there is no cooked breakfast. But fruits and sweets are on offer. Room: Mine is the deluxe one on the 5th floor, which is the one shown in the photo. There are two rooms per floor. There is 1 facing the Galata tower and 1 to the back street. You need to specify if you want to.
all reviews » Simply everything from the first correspondence with the delightful staff to the moment I left all was perfect! This hotel has a fantastic location I block from Galata Tower and many shops, cafes and restaurants. My room was just beautiful and spacious with a lovely view. When I arrived I was greeted in my room by a nice little bottle of wine and each day a different treat was left for me-from dates to little chocolate cupcakes! The staff is wonderful and more than willing to go out of their wa. I enjoyed everything, every little detail. The staff was amazing and very helpful (including Erhan Yildiz who helped us with tips and information for the city). We were welcomed with turkish delight, cookies and tea. There was a complimentary bottle of champagne in the room. The hotel and the room were extremely clean and very cozy. The bed was very comfortable. We even had a small kichen with a coffee mashine. The location was just amazing. This hotel made our stay an unforgettable experience. The apartment is even nicer than it looks in the photos, modern, fresh, beautifully laid out, tastefully decorated, and very accessible. The location is ideally situated near the Galata Tower as well as numerous restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely helpful, from the first time we were contacted by email until the day we left. They were always eager to make reservations, arrange tours, and give directions. We were so impressed we are hoping to arrange for our daughter and son-in- la. Wonderful Vacation in silent and quite nice room.. When i looked that apart's photos on internet i though its nice place! But only when we arrived here i have realised that its great ! Room decorated very good. Lovely historic building that has been tastefully and expensively converted to create characterful but practical and comfortable accomodation. Travelling by myself without Turkish was a bit demanding, but the staff were very nice and always ready to help. I was invited to have Turkish coffee and tea with them whenever I went to the reception desk, and one night they even sent me a bottle of white wine, which really surprised me and made me feel at home. This calm and charming hotel is definitely the right place to stay in Galata or nearby Taksim. The owner and staff are so genuine, kind and helpful. Ömür is an amazing host; we have never experienced such warmth and hospitality in all of our many travels. We were upgraded to a suite with a full kitchen and a balcony. It was gorgeous. The staff were always available if we needed something, but because they were so discreet, it was as if we had our own apartment in Istanbul. The location near the Galata Tower was fantastic, within walking distance of the tram and many excellent restaurants. Mr Ömür - the manager was excellent.His choice of Site Tour & the shopping places were perfect. He was very kind to upgrade our room which was marvelous. The location was perfect near to Galata tower and many shops.Me & my wife simply enjoyed the hotel and our trip.Next time in Istanbul will stay this hotel again. great location right in the hustle and bustle but far enough away that you can't hear it from your room.
